This little knife looks like it would be even better in H1! Then there would be no damage from sweat and body oils.

Lovely axe! I would have suggested, had price been an issue, that you look at whatever Wetterlings had to offer in mauls/axes. But since you went large, GB is the best!

I am partial to the American Bourbons--Basil Hayden's and Knob Creek Rye especially, though Makers Mark is nice. DH likes Buffalo Trace and Sazerac. We also have a couple more floating around but the specific names escape me at the moment. (Devil's Cut is one?)

For Scotch, I like Balvenie.

Various members of my family received Spydercos for Christmas. Sal, my son is thrilled with his Ambitious! The girls both love the little Ladybugs, though I think they will be getting bigger knives ...

Four out of the five of us here got a Spyderco for Christmas! Mine is the Street Beat!

Benchmade did that with their early version of the rescue knife now known as a Houdini. The LED light was a major fail. I am glad Spyderco is not pursuing that idea further, as there are so many better real flashlights out there to use in the off hand.

Looks just like mine which I guarantee is real (was from the 2012 factory sale) except for the digicam scales. I say it's real.

I'm no expert but I do own a couple PM2's.

Thank you Sal & the rest of the Spyderco team, for sending Mia and Jack to Dallas for the Market Hall gun & knife show this weekend. It was a real pleasure meeting them and getting to check out all the great knives they brought. Both Mia and Jack are an asset to the Spyderco team.

My normal EDC is my PM2 (now switched over to the factory 2nd I got). I think perhaps for NYD though,I might carry my Taz Salt.

I am not skilled at sharpening the SE blades but am getting a little better practicing working out the nicks in my kids combo edge multitools withteh Sharpmaker...
Still, I need lots of practice, and not owning a SE bladed knife myself makes it harder to learn. I did however, recently acquire a user ...

Having owned both the earlier S30v FRN Native and the PM2, I would choose the PM2 hands down over the Native for EDC. It is narrower in the pocket, and I personally find the ergos to be superior.
