I must agree that the MBC program has an excellent foundation. I also concur with the previous suggestions of a manual and videos for the different levels. Speaking as a LEO, I think that the best thing that probably could have happened to the program did when the Law Enforcement Only section was ...

Remington Golden Saber rounds are pretty good too and is what my agency issues. The Speer Gold Dot is an interesting round, since the jacket is actually plated onto the round. I had an opportunity to observe some ballistic testing of the Gold Dot. When fired through glass, every round shed the core ...

I wear dress attire everyday at work. I usually just clip my Benchmade Eclipse or Spyderco Endura in my front pants pocket. I have also carried a fixed blade behind my right hip. Of course, I am a cop, so my co workers don't get too worked up.

Go with the Glock. I am a LEO and I have three of them, the 22 (issue) a 23 (personal and duty weapon for about 5+ years) and a 27 that is my current carry weapon (I'm a detective). Carried a .40 cal Browning Hi-Power for a short time, good gun, but hammer bite was a problem and I couldn't keep a ...

I must second Brubaker's comment. I have attended Levels 1 thru 3 and am eagerly anticipating Level 4 in March 2002. The class is exceptionaly good. Mr. Janich presents the material in an easily learned format. He is an excellent instructor who is truly dedicated to helping the student succeed. This ...

This tragedy has greatly impacted the nation. We as a nation must stick together and temper our anger. As has been shown on TV and unfortunately in my own community, some members of the community have chosen to lash out at non white, non-Christian members of our society. The real enemy is not here ...

I think Tactical Knives is pretty good, however (and we have discussed this a couple times during MBC) open up the tactics discussion to more than just one guy. I would also like to see a focus on the tactical deployment of the knife as well as intergration of other tools of defense such as empty ...
