I'll admit that my facination with the Denmark PK started because it was so rarely seen and unusual. It really is a great knife though. Even though I voted for the DKPK, with already having a UKPK, you'd probably be just fine getting the Urban.

I'm curious about the Chicago too. Hopefuly it's not ...

The UKPK.

What a stupid knife. No lock, a small blade, and a pocket clip that is obviously flimsy.

Then I picked one up. What a terrific feeling handle. It's one of the best cutting/feeling knives I own. The wire clip makes it almost disappear in plain sight. Now I love my orange handled one so ...

Denmark Pen Knife - I Finally Got One

I went to the Spyderco Factory Outlet store yesterday and finally got the Denmark PK. Ever since I picked up a UKPK, I'd been wanting one of these.

The woman who works at the SFO is so nice - I wish I'd asked what her name was. She had four in stock, and offered to take them all out for me to pick ...

Maybe it's like one of those fancy restaurants where the waiter tells you, " If you have to ask..." Lol :)

Spyderco's are knives for us, the ones who work, and sacrifice, and do everything we can to make sure our children have the same opportunity.

Over the summer, I picked up a new Paramilitary D2. The blade seemed a little crooked, and it didn't open or lose as smoothly as my other Spydercos. I drove to the SFO and showed it to the woman working the counter. Two minutes later, she handed me a new Paramilitary and just said, "Here you go!"

How to Clean Orange G10 ?

I've been carrying my orange handled UKPK, and noticed it's starting to get a little dirty. Anyone have any tricks for cleaning these? I've tried water, but it still doesn't look quite clean.

I can't wait for the Leaf Storm. It's hard to tell, but it almost looks like the G10 will be a little translucent? I hope they release it soon!

Black Coating - what is it?

I picked up one of the Native's at the SFO sale Saturday, and I was wondering what is used to coat the blade black? Is there anything I need to do to maintain it?

I'd like to see one like the tactical blades Dozier offers. 3 - 3 1/2 inch blade with a micarta or CF handle. Maybe a blade profile like the T-mag, or the old Terzuola folders from back in the mid 1990's.

After two days with the knife, I'm very hapy I bought it. If nothing else, I now have a knife I could travel to places such as New York City that ban locking blades. And really, isn't that have the fun of collecting knives? Getting ones from general, to very specific uses?

Even though I read ...

Honestly, when I read the reviews, I was expecting a weak lock, but not nearly as weak as it really is. That being said, I still think this is a very nice nice, and the sum of it's parts are worth more than the 50.00 they sold for.

I've had my knife for a little over 24 hours now, and I've modified how I hold this one compared to my other knives. If I put my thumb on the notches on the back of the blade, I end up fighting against my index finger in the choil which is trying to keep the blade closed.

If I keep my thumb to the ...

I've been reading about the complaints of the weak lock, but there may be a silver lining.

Years ago, I had a Delica replaced because the lock had become so worn, you could close the blade with a little finger pressure.

With the T-mag, there isn't any metal to metal friction like a traditional ...

UK Pen Knife Stiff Opener?

Just got my orange UKPK the other day. I just had a question for those of you with one. Is this knife a little stiff to open? It doesn't seem to glide open like my other Spydercos and I was wondering if this is normal. I understand that it takes a little force to close, but the opening seems almost ...

Thanks for the welcome and the replies guys. I took it to the factory today and asked them to look at it. They agreed it wasn't right and immediately gave me a new one.

I don't care what anyone says - that is great customer service.
