So Sam, are you saying that re-interpreting an existing law to increase the number of otherwise law-abiding citizens it entraps is somehow less egregious than passing a new one to erode their ability to be self reliant? Are you saying that media generated hysteria is nothing to be concerned about? ...

Gents, can I, yet again, point out that the UK laws on knives haven't changed since something like 1958. The Police and Crown Prosecution Service are slowly trying to change the interpretations of these existing laws but that's it. Until the facts of the case are known all you've got to go on is a n...

I don’t think I’ve seen the Stretch mentioned once. I wonder why? I can only imagine it's because it's not a just released knife and you've only recently joined and not used search. There's been reams written in praise of the Stretch. I'm at the pitch now that I can't be bothered with knives much b...

I was lucky enough to get one at the bargain closeout prices. The price was the main reason I bought it. Truth be known, I've tended to dislike every other Endura I've tried. This one I like very much, G-10 and FFG make quite a difference to me. I wish I'd seen the matching Delica at a similar crazy...

I love the models you've all mentioned with the exception of the Ocelot. Don't get me wrong I love the blade design but those paw prints are just not meant for skinning animals because unless you run the folder through the dishwasher at least twice there is hardly no way to keep that handle from st...

I'll be one of the few hunters with similar tastes regarding folders for hunting. I can't stand carrying a fixed blade when I'm hunting. They always seem to be in the way even if they are better/more suitable at the job. The difference between us will be the size of game we are dealing with. It's ve...

Forum knife issue aside, is the etching just restricted to a couple of coloured Blade-Tech mice? If so what's the issue from a Spyderco perspective?

Harsh to call it stupid although poorly thought out and illogical would cover it. I doubt that a close relative of someone that's been stabbed to death is seeing it with cold, logical detachment though. I'm sure that the US has "Mothers against guns" or similar, with a lot more than 120 me...

In general the only negatives I've seen for the Stretch II have come from people that haven't used one or just don't like the style of it. I love the Stretch II in any of its three guises. The complaint about the choil is interesting as it's one of the biggest plus points that I look for in a knife....

If I consider UK EDC legality then it would have to be the UKPK.
Otherwise it'll be the CF Stretch. ;)

Even though the implication seems to be that you are either incompetent, inept, or otherwise lacking in aptitude if you need a locking folder, I prefer a locking folder. If you've got that impression from me then you are reading me wrong. There are things I'd do with a locking folder that I wouldn'...

Ok, so they have a few discontinued knives. ATR. I did not even know that those impalas were spydies. I saw the weird emblem on the blade, and just thought they were something else. They have both models you showed Sam. Ask for Chris when you call. He knows his spydie stuff. Most of their prices ar...

I'd have thought that the two in the bottom left corner of the pic that look suspiciously like Impalas would be more interesting to a few on here. ;) :)

Well if they are disco'd, I going to have to load up on them. It is my favorite folder bar none. I was only speculating that they may be discontinued due to the price I managed to get one. It could simply be a case of a dealer clearing them for his own reasons. The speculation on my part arises fro...
