Cheap and very handy, the bits are stored in the end cap. But the cap's a pain to get off.

ehh, sorry... think I bought New Graham's last one during the Xmas shopping season. Don't see it on their site anymore, but for reference, I paid about $59.

A friend, who I've shown a couple of my Spydies, said he didn't trust lockbacks. I've heard of not trusting liners, or slip-joints, but not that one. To note, I hadn't shown him my Manix, with the industrial lockback on it.

OTOH, a green... say, British Racing Green... Dodo would also be interesting. I love my FG Manix, but that color is for uses where looks come in last, I'd say.

Nice! My latest Spydie is the SE SS Cricket and it's EDC ever since I bought it. I wasn't sure about the etched scales though; am ok with the plain SS. Doing a search, seems the forum has a lot of it's own ideas for the 'next' Cricket, including... an orange FRN one? hehe, who knows...

The D'allara is the reason I hang around here... my first knife at Spyderco; bought because it was (and still is?!) on sale at the site here. Beautiful handle work, and if I didn't love mine already, I'd make that my 'ball-lock Mule' for mods, etc.

looks good... didn't realize it would be a FF grind. Need to see the street price though... looks a lot higher than a comparable knife like the CF Sage.

Looks like the main notch is too far forward just to make a integrated liner lock out of the existing Ti liner. Dunno, I just buy 'em ;)

Question for Tony, can you tell us how the magnet is attached to the liner? I've had magnet-enabled tools before, like a multi-driver with interchangeable bits ...

I love that D2 metal stuck in the tree... and the DAllara pics. So few seem to take pics (or like?) the DAllara on here, but it was my first Spydie and I love it. Combo edge tho, not the plain edge seen here. What do you think of it?

Orange would be cool... I like the size of my Dragonfly better than the teenyweeny Ladybug, and that's the closest thing in orange.

As for steel, how many steels did the Dragonfly come in? Mine says 'AUS-8 STAINLESS' on it.

does the tip placement matter, at least within a certain tolerance? My FG Manix tip is noticeably (to me) off from center, but otherwise the knife's a rock and I wouldn't trade it in for anything.

I don't see anything that tells what kind of edge you bought... plain or combo-edge? My CE edition was sharp on the serrated portion but I felt like it needed a touch-up on the Sharpmaker at the front end. That might also be because it's my 'beater' spydie and I needed sharpening practice.
