Re: H1Spyderco Machete?
Well, Josh, zhyla has been here 15 years and you've been here three weeks. You're welcome to like or not like whomever you wish, but I find your post to be a bit much, at best. That's my opinion.

I got to get back on it though, as the knife is, heck I wouldn't give this thing to someone else lol. Thanks for the interest on this hot mess I got right here lol...
I don't know if 15 dps is suitable for a ceramic knife. I know Rhaven had caught some flack for wider edges. I suspect edge ...

@phaust
Here is a video showing corrosion of H1. Not on the blade but crevice corrosion by the handle area. The tester mentioned in comments that even titanium will develop crevice corrosion.

Re: Is H2 on life support or alive and well?
Seen a few with a bunch of rust on FB that definitely did not look like standard material transfer rusting, so I've been holding off myself and sticking with my h1.
MC is definitely not a replacement because it gets rust easy enough. I take it more like m390 with worse edge holding and even ...

Re: Something I drew up quickly on a CAD and photo studio for a machete idea.
Honestly, I could not figure out how to get the hole on there. Working with a tablet and CAD/AI program that does not allow me to draw a Spydie hole due to copyright reasons. This presents challenges for an older person like myself.
I just posted it as is and figured someone more skilled can ...

What I have discussed is for informational purposes only and feedback to Spyderco and other members. Of which only you are critical of.
Zhyla, I have watched you pick apart other members besides myself, and all I see is diarrhea of the mouth talk and no action or positive input.

Anyone tested VG XEUS mule yet
Just wondering if anyone has bought and tested a Mule VG XEUS yet? There is no cut test or real world use of this steel dexpite coming out in 2022.
Come October 1st I am debating between the AEB-L and VG XEUS for my first Mule. I don't know which one to try. And I can't afford to buy both.

Re: The HIC…
I don't think you can really go wrong with any of your choices here. Now your honing ability you mentioned I would certainly keep that concern in scope.
My HIC came to me with no edge on it at all, matter a fact it wasn't even on the edge you hone, it was actually quite rough and would not have ...

Re: H1Spyderco Machete?
the hobacks look nice in their design, but I typically don't buy chinese knives / cutting tools, and particularly not ones over $100.
Oh yeah. The bible thumper guy who knowingly sold his knives claiming USA made. Then got busted. I was looking into Hoback knives until that scandal came out.

@PM2Josh
Thanks for the heads up. I checked again, but I still can’t find the standard Boltaron sheath. But the sheath for the straight spine Mule was still available.
