Re: Decline of serrations

Although I mostly buy PE Spyderco knives, I primarily carry the Police 4 SE (K390) right now. I plan to get one or two of smaller SE models in future, as the P4 is quite a large knife. It carries fine, but it’s the most aggressive-looking blade in my collection for people outside the hobby. I'm ...

Got mine. Rather keeper. Smooth G10 isn't my dream but it's not bad in reality. Whole knife feels light and well balanced compared with hefty Shaman. My interest in SE version is now peaked.
Those are what I was waiting for in the Bodacious!

Re: Bodacious Discussion

So this knife is really putin a strain on future knife purchases there boss (@sal). There is a nice blade stock with a very stout tip and fine serration’s.
Doggon fine knife!

Re: What would be your dream knife?

Caly 3.5 in Magnamax. And SE!
It’s the most comfortable model I have of Spyderco.
So far MM is not really needing to be sharpened!
Welcome as well!

Re: Bodacious Discussion

Recently picked up this knife in SE. It’s a very nice piece. I really appreciate the 1/8” blade stock!

I can easily find a place for this knife anytime I’m on the move. I’m back a forth with this and a Chief Salt SE. Lots of blade and cutting surface. Really nice!

Re: Compendium of tips for sharpening serrated knives

Can anyone tell me how I’m doing in my attempt to sharpen and reprofile the serrated edges of my Dyad? It seems like very slow progress. The concave edges seem to cut quite well, but they don’t catch hairs on my arm. I’m after that “hair whittling edge”. Am I being too optimistic?

No.

@Marco72 what an exhaustive thread and very informative including photos I never saw (like the keychain which was basis behind clips). Thank you very much for all the effort.

I think Worker should return into regular production under the new Category - Legends… followed by Mariner in SS handle ...

Hi Jim,

My history information on Michael Echanis mostly came from Bob. I never met the man and I heard that his later years were tough on him.

If I were to consider making another run of the Warrior, I might be inclined to serrate it?

Cheers to those who got one.
