Re: Came here to pick a fight!

Only have a tiny selection at hand compared to most here, but thus far the first 2 Spyderco knives I bought years back hold the top spots:

Sage 2

Close second: PM2 S30V DLC

Re: UKPK SPY27 in G-10 availability

So it's now been more than half a year since placing my order when it was displayed as "usually ships within 2-3 days from the manufacturer" and still no update. Appears to also be out of stock on all the other shops mentioned already.

Really wondering when production in Golden will finally catch ...

Re: UKPK SPY27 in G-10 availability

It appears to still be in stock at multiple other retailers if you don’t want to wait. River’s Edge, Knifeworks, SMKW…

MAP is really good on these at just slightly more than some of the frn versions, so not surprised they’re selling out.

That's good to know and thanks for the suggestions.

UKPK SPY27 in G-10 availability

Just wondering what's up with the G-10 version of the UKPK with SPY27?

Ordered this knife some days ago from Knifecenter, while being aware that they showed it as "Delayed by the manufacturer"
As this is not a sprint run I was fine with that and went through with it. On spyderco.com it was possible ...

Re: Chaparral CQI

in the end it's not just the backlock spring but also some slight chamfering on the opening hole.

Re: Chaparral CQI

They are exactly the same, no sharp edges.

SE left, PE right.

I can't stress enough how much I love the tightness on this backlock, it's slim, but built like a tank.

Thank you, Palestrina for the picture. I consider it confirmed now that the 'optimizations' on the SE ...

Re: Chaparral CQI

Thanks for all the replies thus far. The red carbon fibre chaparral in the teaser looks more than tempting indeed!

@Switchback From what I can gather from the picture it looks identical to my serrated edge version. That would be good news indeed! Thanks a lot for the reference.

Chaparral CQI

Hi everyone

Long-time lurker, first time poster. :bug-red-white

After reading lots and lots of good feedback on the serrated edge Chaparral and finding it relatively cheap in Europe, I pulled the trigger last year and got one myself. It's only the second serrated Spyderco for me after the Salt I ...
