North Carolina or Pennsylvania, most likely.

The closing of Crucible (pioneers in tool steel powdered metallurgy) and losing the only foundry that could make 15V and REX121 was definitely the end of an era. Knife steel heads had it better than a lot of us realized, I think.

Right now the only thing I'm waiting to drop is the YoJumbo in 15V.

Your post encouraged me to order a NIB Sharpmaker as well, just now. (Thanks also for pointing out that Sal's instructional video was up on YT!) I hope I'll make it work, but I sure as heck won't practise on any Spyderco at first. :grin-sweat

The collector in me was extremely tempted to grab two but I held out and only got one to save some for the rest of you guys.
