Yes! Endura 4 in SPY27! I hope a serrated version comes out some day but this one is a must have for me! Cobalt blue FRN just as I had hoped in a previous thread!

I really like the Endura and was always interested in the all stainless steel variant but shied away from it because there was no way to disassemble it if I had to.

I saw this one at a local dealer about a month ago and didn’t realize that it was the new CQI’ed version until I was there yesterday ...

... What are some good reasons for me and others to own and use an Endela?...

Unlike Endura and Delica the Endela can be had in VG10 ffg SE and with a great serration pattern.

What about non-locking socks for people in the UK. Me, I'm in the Boston area; I hope these ship with ankle socks.

Perhaps those shipped to the U.K. will come with a sock without a leg garter?

Maybe not. There might be one color of sock for one variant, another color for the other.

If you do at least have some panache and ship them in a merino wool sock. Something from Darn Tough at a minimum.

The more I think about it the more I have a sinking feeling that these knives will mostly be safe queens never to be used; especially if there is only the certainty of a limited run with no promise of subsequent runs. Those that will be available will be directly from Spyderco (very briefly) and ...

Keeping my fingers crossed that enough of the hollow ground and/or appleseed variants will be produced to actually be able to buy one or both.

As to the thread question, I have only come to appreciate Spydercos since late 2023.

I am going through a honeymoon phase right now carrying and trying several different models and variants of the same model in a few cases. Really thinking about it, I have probably carried a Delica 4 PE in VG-10 ...

I have had the rare occasion to have to resort to using my Endura 4 PE in VG-10 in a restaurant. It worked just fine. I used a wet napkin to wipe off the blade and when I got home a few passes on the Sharpmaker and it was good.
