Re: You got your Ceramic Mule. How you gonna sharpen it?

You cannot expect that to cut a paper towel. The edge beyond what sem imaging can do matters it's the material Jesus Christ guys please figure this out so I don't have to write half a book on the differences between metals and ceramics. Nobody asked you to, And I don't care if you do or not. I will...

Re: You got your Ceramic Mule. How you gonna sharpen it?

I'm open to whatever people (users, spyderco, etc) would find beneficial. If people wanted to look at the edge/apex after use on different abrasives and grits it's something I could certainly do. My company is a nano materials manufacturer so I'm usually dorking around on the SEM a few days a week ...

Re: A new spin on "HIC dropping soon"

Hi Jason, Do you intentionally try to be offensive? Or are you one of those that honestly can't help it? I don't know what people you think we are losing? Our Opfocus program is a favor we do for those Patriotic Americans serving the rest of us. The Mule Team project is a favor we do for those knif...

Re: A new spin on "HIC dropping soon"

I think spyderco has already made up their minds about this material but I could be entirely wrong. I do plan on scoring 1 and providing whatever feedback I can provide. I get the benefit of getting a 2nd chance of picking 1 up. First time I've ever seen that on a mule team. If the right appreciati...

That is interesting, it looks as if it’s surface hardening rather than full thickness?
It may have a place for lock faces and high wear areas on handles etc.
Or engine cylinders, where you want maximum hardness on the internal wear area, but retain malleability in the structure

Apparently I missed out again on the HIC mule recently reopened for sale. If anyone has one they do not want, I would like to buy it. Thanks!

Re: EDC Hygiene: Fixed Blade VS. Folder

I really don’t understand how people run into “food prep” tasks outside of a kitchen so often that EDC knives need to touch food. Do you people lack teeth? It is not something I do daily, but it happens. Cutting/peeling fruit usually. I was in Puerto Peñasco a few days ago and the condo had very cr...

Re: EDC Hygiene: Fixed Blade VS. Folder

Honestly as someone with a below average immune system Im interested in this answer. I've always been left scratching my head when someone lists food prep as one of their factors for liking or carrying an edc knife design, especially a folder. I just can't wrap my head around the idea of having a k...

Re: UKPK Magnacut?

I have the UKPK IN S110V, awesome knife… just don’t see Magnacut as an improvement. Just not a Magnacut fan, I don’t know maybe it’s the name…. Or the rusty pics I’ve seen. I’ll take S110V every time over Magnacut. I’m tired of the cries for every new knife coming out should be Magnacut. My steels ...

The forum was extremely slow Wednesday. It would take quite some time to just bring up a selected thread. Went back to normal about the time OP posted, or shortly thereafter.

Typically I'd agree with you, and if I'm being honest I suppose I agree with sal on his.. methodology here actually. Just spent some time on it and I had no idea what exactly people wanted and I guess being a nice guy. The only reason I disagree with you is that I can't PM sal. 😑 I know me and mike...

Re: Niacin, the real story

The Kuhn book is one of those essential to anyone's education. As to your discussion of directions in Medicine, we must also include other elements when talking about the revolution in health, already underway, like "vibrational". About 10 years ago I stopped getting sick, "colds&quo...
