To heck with all that. I'm still waiting for a deep pocket/low-ride clip for the E4/D4.

what is a "impact weapon" also, does this story apply for the states, or for canada? if someone came into my house and shot my brother and killed him, i'd be in a state of mental insanity and so scared i probably wouldn't know what i just did or what happened. that wouldn't hol...

Nice pics. Unlike yours, the Ayoob's I've seen and handled do indeed have a shiny, smooth, and arguably slick scales.

While all three are great for defensive purposes and have strong locks, I think that the Ayoob, with its slender blade, would be the least suited for hard utility use.

I really like the idea, and the cool factor to me is off the charts. I'm just worried that it may be considered an auto in California. I don't know the blade length, or even if the design is technically an auto, but our state's knife laws do worry me. :( I'd enjoy lending it to a friend and watchin...

This is incorrect. I had the best response: Chuck Norris would show up and whup them both. You're too modest, Joe. What you actually said was hysterical: If either Janich or Keating even dream of beating Chuck Norris, they'd better wake up and apologize. (By the way, my money is on Keating ;) ) Bes...

Did you catch this line:
Spyderco Inc., for example, makes a tactical knife that, when folded, masquerades as a credit card

WTF? Oh yeah, it would be so easy to mistake one for the other

I am not sure where I read this maybe someone out there can help , but wasn't there an issue with lock failure with the rolling lock? I also remember reading about lock failures, I believe it was in regards to the Sifu. Could have been quality control problem, as opposed as to a design flaw? Best r...

I also believe it was a SS Cricket - at least that was my first thought when I saw this scene - but they showed too little of it to be 100 % sure. I had the same reaction, just hint of that familiar stainless steel oval design, but not enough for a positive visual confirmation. Best regards, Argyll
