Re: Is 300 F enough to ruin a blade's temper?

I remove the belt clip then use a heat gun to soften the sheath to the point that the knife slips in, then I continue to heat the top of the s...

Re: K294 I added a handle to for a friend.

GORGEOUS!!! How l I ng did that take to make??? Michael Roughly 3 weeks, it has over 20 layers of Tru-Oil finish on it, takes time to dry/polymerize and has to be hard enough to polish so most of the time was waiting. 24 hour cure epoxy and the multi part construction is 2 epoxy steps, gluing the l...

Re: Confused on where to post last several mile performance threads.

So which Mules do you have? The one I wanted to post info on was the K294 but it was splintered into multiple different reports/questions that no one forum was clear on where to post information. Also I’m going to be testing the 15V and T15 mules but I haven’t really searched hard to see if anyone ...

Re: Sold Out Dates for Mules?

I'm still amazed that the K294 hasn't sold out yet... I had to grab a second one yesterday and had a friend get one last week I'll put a handle on for him.

Re: Deer Hunting Mule - current and recent steel choices

MagnaCut was designed to be a very balanced stainless steel, sure it doesn't have extreme wear resistance, sure it doesn't have extreme toughness BUT what it does have is a balance between them which is really new for a stainless steel. Normally extreme wear resistant stainless is not tough and extr...

Just finished my T15 MT34

I finished up my first Mule, as I posted in another thread I'm working on 3 (now 4, ordered a SPY27 for a son in law) Mules. 2 T15, 1 K294 and, once it arrives, a SPY27 MULE2. I used Ultrex SureTouch with blue G10 and black rubber layers on this one. This is the T15 I've finished up, I decided to do...

Re: T15 Mule owners... What you guys think?

Sharpened my T15 up with diamond plates and diamond past wood strop and it is absolutely screaming sharp. Working on putting a handles on another T15 for a friend and a K294 for me, will sharpen them both up and post pictures of all 3 of them soon. The friend supplied some nice zebra wood for me to ...
