Isn't Rex 121 one of the steels that's gone extinct with the death of Crucible? The prices of the Sage 5 and Pm2 were set long before anyone knew how limited of a supply there was. There's probably no wrong answers to this thread, but this is the right answer.

As stated its sadly discontinued. The Caribbean is the much better pm2, but Spyderco seems steadfast in handcuffing it as a Salt only model. I think most people see the price tag and think it's too much for lc200n.

Completing the entire V-toku set this year is my biggest grail. It brought me shameful levels of feeling accomplished, satisfaction, and pride.
