Re: When will they start selling military salt?
I was looking for a Military Salt. The black G10 version did get released but after the initial batch sold, they have been very hard to come by. I think I will hold out for one of these since I prefer no DLC coating anyway (especially on a Magnacut blade).

Your best example of a Spyderco
I am curious what folks best fit and finish and overall quality Spyderco is.
For me, it is my Para 3 CruCarta. This thing came to me absolutely perfect and has remained that way.
No lock stick, perfect and solid lock up.
Micarta is perfectly aligned with the liners. Blade perfectly centered. It ...

Re: Police SPY27 QC issue?
Thanks for all the comments. This will be a user - I'll hang on to it.
It's a great knife regardless of the minor scuff by the thumb ramp which really doesn't affect functionality whatsoever - already fallen in love with it :-)

Re: Police SPY27 QC issue?
FWIW I have a bunch of Seki backlocks (which I love) and I never really experienced this issue but picking them up again now, I can see that they all do to in varying degrees. Perhaps it is just a bit more noticeable on the huge Police model.

Police SPY27 QC issue?
I picked up my first Police 4 LW in SPY27 from a well known authorized dealer and it arrived yesterday.
Very happy with the model (it's a beast) and I now have around 30 Spyderco's in total but can't help but be a little disappointed with what looks to be some damage by the jimping on the thumb ...

The smokies are awesome - thanks for sharing. These are some great pics.
I did a camping trip there last April with just the para 3 lightweight SPY27 and it served me very well.
Thank you! I’m glad you had a good time out here! Photos? I love the cobalt blue handle on the SPY27 Para 3 ...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
I received my Delica SE in K390. This is not even close to my first Spyderco SE knife, so believe ne when I say I dont think I have ever had a more slicey serrated knife I think Steel plus Spydie edge plus Delicas design with thin blade stock has produced an incredible cutting experience.
This ...

The mystery boxes sound great. I'm feeling regret that I didn't purchase one when I had the chance. Next time!

Re: When Is Carbon Steel The Right Choice
I'd say that it's the right choice when you can be sure that you can adequately clean it (and reasonably quickly) after it gets dirty.
Otherwise, stainless is always a better choice.
I love my non stainless steels but I also do a lot of fishing and camping and for that it's simply impractical.

Re: 2025 Black Friday map holiday
For others looking for Seki models in SPY27, DLT appears to have a couple models (Endela, Police, Stretch 2 XL) discounted that I'm not seeing elsewhere.
