I ordered two Lil Natives with S30v and black G10 over the holiday sale, one Wharncliffe, and one Spyderedge compression lock. Looking forward to them. They will keep my knifejoy neon green lil native company.

Knife Center has great deals on closeout Spydercos.

I have never had a wharncliffe blade. I’m considering a serrated Rock Jumper as they’re only about $60.
I usually like para 3, Sage, or native knives, all plain edge.
Please talk me into or out of it.

I had an extra set of micarta para 3 scales laying around. Decided to practice a dye job on them. Used guidance from JSumm.

Sanded these with 600 grit sandpaper.
Went a little nuts with applying a heat tolerant grease.
Dunked them for 60-90 second intervals numerous times using Rit Dye More ...

Answered some of my own questions by watching videos and by dying the knife.
Dyemore definitely works better than standard Rit based on videos I saw.
The burnished apricot recipe from Rit which I followed exactly turned the yellow FRN cherry red. I added 1/2 teaspoons of sandstone and chocolate ...
