Re: XL knives to look forward to
Hello Naperville. I am not trying to be argumentative. You sound like you have lived in some tough areas. I have done a little Sayok Kali. I agree that trained people target vital areas. My point is that a blade on blade fight by trained fighters is as rare as being abducted by aliens. Most knife ...

Re: XL knives to look forward to
As far as deadly knife use is concerned, knife vs. knife is extremely rare. Most knife use is a sewing machine style surprise attack. A knife is an assassination weapon.
The need for a larger knife so you can out distance the smaller knife just doesn't happen in the real world.

There is nothing I don't like.
The hole is genious
The clips are excellent and don't tear your pants
They are smooth opening.
No blade wobble.
They are light
They feel well made
They sharpen easily
The owner seems like a sincerely nice guy
My favorite knife brand hands down.

Re: Your running knife?
I just take my regular endura. When I am done, I wipe it down. It is the perfect running knife for me.

Re: Question on my new Military
Thanks to all. I am sending it to the factory. I have about 25 Spyderco's and just discovered the Military (late to the party). I think the Military is my favorite. I would be happy if they could loosen it up even 50%.
I get what you guys are saying about the safety aspect. Makes sense.

Question on my new Military
Hello. I have a brand new Spyderco Military. I bought it from Knifeworks.
I love the knife. It is probably my favorite knife. However, there is one small problem. When I open the knife, it takes quite a bit of force with my thumb to overcome the inertia that is keeping the blade closed. After the ...
