As far as deadly knife use is concerned, knife vs. knife is extremely rare. Most knife use is a sewing machine style surprise attack. A knife is an assassination weapon.

The need for a larger knife so you can out distance the smaller knife just doesn't happen in the real world.

Is there a reason why Spyderco discontinued the Tatanka?

I just take my regular endura. When I am done, I wipe it down. It is the perfect running knife for me.

Thanks to all. I am sending it to the factory. I have about 25 Spyderco's and just discovered the Military (late to the party). I think the Military is my favorite. I would be happy if they could loosen it up even 50%.
