I'll put in my 2 cents. I have sharpened both the M398 and AEBL Mules (the only 2 I have currently). They both sharpened very easily and nothing went wrong on either. I am no expert nor have I tested mine but, after sharpening it doesn't feel soft. I have had a ton of M390/20CV/204P cross my path and they all seemed to have rough burr removal.
