Re: A tale of 2 knives and the sea…

Here are a few pics of some of the awesome fish I was blessed to catch while in Perdido Key, FL, this last week. The Spyderco Salt's kept me in good hands. Enjoy! https://i.postimg.cc/PfSkSFWB/IMG-5411.jpg What was wing span on that cow nose , looks like a nice chunky. Did you snag it in the wing w...

Re: Swick Thoughts (with pics)

Some swick pics for Sal and the Caspian he mentioned . These are part my kayak and surf fishing carry . Finger hole knives are perfect to free up fingers for tasks and prevent dropping the knife.

Re: Mule Screws

My Halperns are 4-40 , 0.195 head diameter T8 , the other screw is a knife kit , 6-32 , .246 head T10
You can see how I countersunk scale for bigger screw.
The USA knife screw size is a catalog mistake , they use the 2-56 in their smaller pivot barrels , they use 4-40 in their 3/16 barrels.

Re: POLL: Shape of "Standard Mule" MT28P2

While I am partial to the leaf design , not opposed to the straight spine. Radical idea , sell it in both formats. The tooling is already there for both designs , knock out batches of each. Use Lazer etching to differentiate original leaf from new batches.

Re: MT28P2 - CPM SPY27 Mule Team Release!

I have a number of mules for testing and have put some nice handles on them and always get people wanting one. But these are not for sale as I make them for myself. (And due to the fact they are not readily available to re-purchase) Now I have the chance to buy a few at a time and make knives for o...

Re: MT28P2 - CPM SPY27 Mule Team Release!

Sweet blade. Despite the photos, the acute tip still took me by surprise; I have to be more careful around this Mule because that needly tip can kick! It's also a tad lighter than the regular mules at 2.62 oz (cf 2.75 oz). Since the SS mule is replaceable, I've no qualms about modifying it into a l...

Re: MT28P2 - CPM SPY27 Mule Team Release!

The MT2 is specifically designed for the straight spline mule , you’ll need the regular sheath for the T15. Can’t believe the MT2 are gone so soon , would have imagined building enough stock to match the mule demand. Hi, Connman: Welcome to our forum. I assume you're referring to the MTSH2 (Sheath ...

Re: Caspian

That is my Caspian in the SOL thread, along with the Swicks and Mules. Been a member there almost 20 years and lurking here for a while . Figures now is a good time to register.
