When playing around with my M2, PM2 and P3 I get the strange feeling that either the PM2 or the Para3 is obsolete in the line up for my liking :thinking

until the M2 came out i used the P3 or Endura a lot, but now with the M2 Crucarta ... the PM2s are drifting more and more into the background, I ...

The G10 is an awesome scales material but the Carbon Fiber/ G10 that Spyderco's have is really extra nice in your paw, least I like it.

This is not the G10/CF laminate, these are full carbon fiber scales, no liners 🤗 Love the contoured scales!

Great CruCarta Millie , awesome looking 15V Stonewashed blade and something to experiment with

For some reason I have 5 Millies in front of me :thinking 2xgen 1 and 3xGen 2.
Lets compare how straight they are on the edge.

Visible grind lines on a $200 knife is ridiculous. I would exchange that. That should be sold as B stock.

It is a bit better, now. I changed to the G10 scales and it was ok. Moved back to the micarta ones and as Michael points out it seems the machining is not as deep as on the G10's. Not by much but, yeah . .. solution was to not tighten the 2 scale screws on the compression side as much.
It's working ...

it feels heavier when pressing to release the lock but drops down nicely. opening, it sticks a bit compared to my other pm2's. just not as smooth.

I've got some new micarta scales for my PM2 and disassembled the knife and put the new scales on.
Now, I adjusted the blade that it runs smooth when opened and is in the middle when closed. However, I feel a stronger resistance from the locking ball when opening the blade, also when closing ...

once I saw some scales on Etsy for the Micarta PM2 but I didn't bookmark it ... I think it was some TI scales if remember correct.

I might get over the compression lock but a basic standard clip? holes drilled everywhere to make tip up/down and diagonal user happy ...

I am a huge fan of the Military and was looking for new exclusive sprint runs ... Are there any around the corner?
Seems in these days there is more focus on the ParaMil 2 or the Para 3 from the military line ...
