Re: Your Favorite Slysz Design And Why
My Favorite is the original Bowie. It is in my EDC rotation because it can do a lot of things well. And Second Choice is the Spydiechef. This is because it is so easy to maintain. It's a Salt with corrosion resistance and the Spydiechef is such a great slicer and good for EDC too! Honorable Mention ...

Re: Vote: Kick? Choil? Forward? Other?
The Finger Choil makes things safer and allows for a grip right up next to the blade as well...feels more stable in hand.

Re: River's Edge PM2
My REC PM 2 also came with great action! I agree with another posting...the knife looks much better in person than in any of the photos online. That said, I have not used a PM2 for EDC...but now I've found one!

Re: M4 Yojumbo
I recently got my BHQ M4 DLC Jade G10 exclusive. I am very pleased to get it. I appreciate learning about the uncoated liners. However, uncoated liners would not have kept me from buying this knife. A terrific looking knife in hand!

Re: Knife Lanyards
I use decorative and non-decorative lanyards on all of my folding knives. I will use decorative lanyards on folding knives carried mainly for self-defense. On the other hand, I use non-decorative lanyards on Salts, PM3s , Native 5s and others carried primarily for work, box cutting, gardening, and f...

Re: MULE TEAM™ Future Predictions
That would be an interesting version. I know the concept of a mule is to have the only variable as the steel type. But it would be very interesting to test varying blade shapes and style qualities in one or two of the most popular steels. Imagine if you will, a MagnaCut version with different grind...

Re: Welcome to the Mule Team Sub-Forum!
Hi Mule Team Members, I am happy to have some Spyderco folding knives. However, I am new MT knives so I am eager to get caught up. Just recently, I ordered some Mules: a K294 (MT36P), a CPM SPY-27 (MT28P2), a AEB-L (MT37P) & a CPM REX T-15 (MT34P). I hope to learn more from y'all's postings &...

Re: Any love for the Watu?
I have two Watus for EDC... The Watu is a lightweight carry for me and is very sharp/very slicey. It fits well in my XXL hands using a lanyard. The Watu opens and closes with ease and is a good looking and well-made folding knife!

Re: Decoding Box labels
Useful info about date code...Thank You Wartstein!
The two capital letters are the date code.
First letter is for the month (A = January, B = February and so on)
Second letter for the year (A = 2001,B = 2002 and so on)
Lets take the code on the box of my Goddard as an example:
EW = May 2023

Re: Manix Lightweight
Welcome Noctivaga, I have both BD1N & SPY27 steels in Manix 2 LW; however, I don't see a noticeable difference when using either. Given your intended uses why not consider the Manix 2 LW in BD1N especially at a cheaper price? I find BD1N easy enough for even me to sharpen. I live on the humid Gu...

Re: Manix 2 more popular than Paramilitary 2?
Perhaps, the question of whether the Manix 2 is more "popular" than the PM2 could be thought of in terms of a knife model's impact, visibility & reputation among its users (as a group)...rather than "preference" of use (as an individual) as I alluded to previously
