Re: Which Cru-Wear to buy?
Thanks all. I’ve suddenly had a change of heart and am wondering if I should save the money for something that might appear in future. I even passed on the KnifeCenter double point offer over the weekend - the perfect time to buy their Native 5 exclusive… I do want to try to grab a 15V Shaman, so I ...

Hmm... Sir BuddafuccoAlot.🛡️ You guys are going to give me an ego! :squinting-tongue I posted the codes above to help buy some time for anybody that hasn't been able to score one yet. I think they are going to go fast and that second or two, adding the code, could be the difference. 🫣 Arise Sir Bea...

This one. https://spydercollector.files.wordpress.com/2023/03/spyderco_amsterdammeet2023_spydercollector_stretch2xlnishijin_1.jpg Danke schön That’s cool. Is that a Dutch edition, only? It’s still probably too big for me! I’ll have to check out the other photos from the meet. I enjoy your Aardman A...

Thanks!

Re: Which Cru-Wear to buy?
smooth G10 is excellent. it feels really good. it looks good. i have the para 3 in this combo, and can say it offers effectively no practical reduction in grip in my experience despite its smoothness; it's not slick, it's not a baby seal, it's not made of KY, it's not a fish in a '30s cartoon, it's...

Re: Would you want a Damascus Mule?
Damasteel might be fun.
I imagine that a Mule would at least be a (relatively) cheap way to get into Damasteel.
Sure, it isn't a "super steel", but it's pretty "balanced".
Probably not a great business case for this, though...?

Re: Which Cru-Wear to buy?
If you come to this forum asking what to buy, the inevitable answer will be "both of them" or "all of them". This is the way. This is the way! What happens if I take my helmet off…? You must redeem yourself in the living waters beneath the mines of Mandalore. Or, buy all three C...

Re: Which Cru-Wear to buy?
I’d go for the DLT Endela. I’m holding out for a Stretch, but gosh darn I like that Endela. How’s the TiCN coating and how’s the Seki City heat treat on Cru-Wear…? They probably make me less enthused about the Endela. But the price cannot be argued with, as has previously been discussed in this thr...

Re: Which Cru-Wear to buy?
Without any doubt the new C-60 Cruwear Ayoob Sprint. If you can still find one in either edge type I would pounce on it immediately. You simply can't go wrong with either edge type. It's already in my top 3 Spyderco favorites of all time. Every aspect of that Cruwear Ayoob is nothing short of pure ...

Re: CPM 15V PM2
Soulrack mentioned earlier in the thread that you might not get an alert if you have an unviewed notification here on the forum. Perhaps that was the cause? Something like this definitely seems to happen. I interpreted it as being the case that notifications aren’t sent out if there have been one o...

Re: CPM 15V PM2
Looks like Sooner knives really did have 15v PM2s. Mine shipped today. There was a healthy dose of doubt on the notification thread as their website is pretty basic. I figured I'd get a refund notice or, maybe, have them send me a Crucarta PM2. Looking forward to seeing if this is as well done as t...

Re: Which Cru-Wear to buy?
Aargh, you all make good points. Thanks for nothing. ;-) I like the overall Native package. But I agree that it’s hard to argue with the Endela pricing. I must confess that the black coatings get to me slightly… But I probably prefer DLC to TiCN… Anyone care to speculate further on upcoming uncoated...

Which Cru-Wear to buy?
Hi all,
Any suggestions as to what I can buy with Cru-Wear that isn’t a Para Military or a Manix?
Are there any upcoming exclusives or otherwise…?
I’m interested in trying out the steel, and feel PM2 is the obvious choice, but I don’t want another Para Military at this point.
Thanks!

Sorry, Sir Beau assumes you’re male. I guess it could be Dame Beau.
Either way, the English monarchy should recognise your services rendered to the purchasing of Spyderco knives.

Ha!.. Mr Beau.
I don't know how many they made. It does seem like it's starting off like a typical sized Sprint Run. But any number I threw out would just be a guess.
Sir Beau? If you’re English or a member of a Commonwealth nation…?
