Ah that brings a question to mind how is K390 in an SE blade?

At least from the picture, it looks to me as it was intentionally smoothed out. The texture should be the same as the handle and it doesn’t look it.

Thanks for posting an update on this OP. And I'm sorry for the bad experience - I totally understand that paying almost $200 for something that doesn't meet expectations is a huge downer. I'm glad things got resolved with the original vendor and I hope the new one you ordered serves you well.

I haven't seen any gen 1 Delicas without the "patents" text on the clip, but this looks like a perfectly legitimate first gen delica! Do those have liners?


It has little "mini" liners that reinforce the pivot and lockbar pin, but they don't extend down the handle past that. I haven't disassembled mine yet, but this video shows the design:

It doesn't need to be an intentional prying action. In theory, accidental torque may cause it. Imagine cutting something in a normal fashion and the tip somehow gets stuck in the material. If you try to pull it out and are at an angle at bit off of the cut line, you may apply that accidental ...

What years were the s30v saber grind Manix 2 made?

I have some 154cm ones and a bunch of flat grind s30v ones but have only seen a few s30v saber grind ones
