Try running the pivot dry, but as others have mentioned, use some lube on the lockbar / tang interface. I use a little bit of grease.

Since the Manix is so ambidextrous it is in LFP everyday and used often. The BD1N is ideal, holds edge fairly well, and easy to get it back to blazing sharp in the field. I lost my first Spyderco Knife about 14 years ago while doing some work in my brother's attic. Fast forward about six years and I was at the same house replacing some rotten facia boards and trim on the front eve of the second floor, when something fell out of the soffit and bounced off my shoulder....

The factory clips have always worked nicely for me. There are no real knife restrictions in my area and if people see one of the two or three knives in my pockets, I don't, and they don't seem to care. They do seem well thought out and they certainly work well for me as is. On the other hand though,...

Here is another Ironwood. First mule and I chose to do the the scales with tools that live in the truck. The shop tools have not been set up.
