Re: stretch 2 compression lock
Of course i can only speak for myself, but the day every Spyderco comes with compression lock is when i look elsewhere for interesting designs and knives.
I don't hate the compression lock but i don't see it as the second coming of Christ/ best invention since sliced bread either.. :)
What ...

Re: Which Spyderco models should be discontinued to make room for newer models/variations?
The only one that comes to mind is the wharncliffe Lil' Native. Not because it isn't great, but because of it's overlap with the Microjimbo. Keep the Microjimbo as the wharncliffe. Keep the Lil' Native as a drop point. Nobody designs wharnies better than Michael Janich.
See id say do the exact ...

Re: Microjimbo, sage 5, Bodacious potential tip protruding
A few knives do this, both my Shaman are like this as well, I only checked as others mentioned it or I wouldnt have even noticed, havent looked at the other 30 plus spyderco I have, either way I have never had an issue with it, its never caught on anything so it really doesn't bother me. The fact ...

Re: If you could choose one new Spyderco to be released in K390, which would it be?
Voted for Bodacious as I was thinking that the minute I had my bodacious in hand how awesome it would be in k390, also would put the Gayle Bradley 2 right there with it. Those are the 2 knives I think would be best with the steel.

Re: Help me decide. PARA3/Cru Carta vs GB2
Good choice, GB2 is a knife I wish I got earlier, I had no idea how much I would like it, I prefer the PM2 size to the para 3 but have a para 3 and it has a place, That said the GB2 is almost perfect, I am not a fan of liner locks but on this one I dont care, the rest makes up for it. great EDC and ...

This or the 15v for a first millie?
Tough choice for sure. I've got an S30V DLC Military 2 already that I carry alot. But I've been really wanting to try Spyderco's take on XHP. I have a SOG Kiku XR in XHP that I absolutely love, and I'm willing to bet that Spyderco's heat treat ...

Re: K390 discontinuations?
Wish we could see some K390 on some of the more popular models like the PM2 (yeah I know the bento box, but exclusives are difficult to get in Canada) Military 2, Manix 2, Shaman, GB2 (this one makes perfect sense to me) Native 5, etc, hopefully all with G10 versions not just LW.

Re: Para3 cpm 15v BBB
well considering they just revealed them not long ago I would look at other models if you want a knife this century, I am still waiting for the PM2 magnacut in satin that was announced what? 11 months ago? I was thinking of giving up and just getting the black version but they were released, sold ...

Re: We Really Need A Trainer Matriarch 2
Id assume that it wouldnt sell all that well and IF you really wanted a trainer you can basically just get the endura trainer, same handle, lock up, spydie hole placement, deployment etc just different blade shape on the edge side which you dont really need in a trainer as a slash is a slash wether ...

Re: Manix Question
Great knife, amazing ergos, the lock is really nice, ambidextrous and solid. One of the best models IMO and a great bang for the buck, it has more materials to make it solid than the PM2 yet its cheaper somehow lol. Its a great user knife.

Re: Gateway Spyderco?
Mine was the Smock, never liked the look of the typical spyderco you always see, PM2, Para 3, endura/endela/delica etc. but the smock was so different and in my eyes beautiful, Picked it up and loved the quality so got a Shaman a week later (as it was smother than the hump on the PM2 and was sold on ...

Re: Attn: Sal, K390 = Manix 2 lightweight??
would like it in g10 too, while I love my Stretch and endura k390 with FRN I cant say the same for the Manix LW, absolutely hate how cheap it feels, FRCP and no liners is a night and day difference to my seki FRN knives, Picked up the st nicks 4v manix LW and while I love the colour I hate the ...

Re: Attn: Sal, K390 = Manix 2 lightweight??
Would like k390 on a lot of models, a Manix would be a good one but for me the one I want the most is a Gayle Bradley 2 in K390, Rex 45 would be second choice but feel that steel suits the knife best
