Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!
Even when I signed in with the code that was emailed, it didn't lower the price at checkout. For example, the promo eligible DF tattoo was the same price as on KC.
Sorry about that - I had set the date incorrectly on my end, but got it fixed when I woke up this morning. Should still work for a ...

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!
I’m just unhappy that other shops that use to offer discounts can no longer because of him directly or indirectly.
What shops are you talking about? Spyderco specifically states in their MAP policy that dealers can sell at whatever prices they want to. Nothing at all is blocking them from ...

Wow you are low down and dirty. Promoting your own shop??
eh, for what it's worth, MightyQ isn't an alt of mine, I didn't actually know the guy beyond him buying something from me today.
I don't really have a problem if you don't buy anything, we're not making any profit either way haha ...

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!
Well, I guess they got what they deserved since they're shutting down after all. Might as well take advantage of their failure and get something before the inevitable annual Spyderco price increase in 2026. I'm really surprised Spyderco didn't raise prices earlier after all this tariff stuff happened.

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!
At the point where a legitimate Spyderco authorized dealer is selling below their costs to operate, who cares about happened in the past? It sounds like the primary complaint in that post is Greed, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

Re: Discontinued for 2026
Interesting that all of these products are made overseas. I suppose USA models tend not to get discontinued as much anyway though. I wonder if tariffs had anything to do with some of these products being unviable.

Re: Sal, anything you´d like to share on the Golden made BACKLOCK Polestar? (Another "handle forward" knife?)
Specifically, the Button Up is a conventional "plunge" style button lock, while the Smock is a "button release compression lock". Though the plunge lock is most of the button lock market, there are also Chinese makers who have already adopted the Smock style "BRCL" this year. Vosteed comes to mind ...

Re: Scales (Preferably Titanium) for Lil' Native Mid Back Lock
I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think Spyderco is generally going to shift the backlock lil native to being FRN-only, especially since the LW variant has a different blade stock than the G10 variants. I feel like it'll be somewhat unlikely any of the big scale makers will want to produce scales for ...

Re: Spyderco 2025 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming
Just got ahold of my Shaman LW. The texturing on the Shaman LW's FRN scales is quite aggressive - definitely lives up to the nonslip grip that Spyderco FRN is known for! I think it'll really make for a great daily user. BD1N is also relatively stain resistant, though not at Salt levels.

Re: A silly question about Sprint Runs
Sprint Runs are larger limited production runs of existing models available (in limited qty) to all dealers in the Spyderco dealer network. Sprint Runs are never going to be repeated in the exact configuration again, but it is possible that a slightly different variant may be sold again. For ...

HL Dalis “Cut Through” Statue of Liberty PM2 should be on the way to dealers very soon. Should be showing up as in stock at dealers starting next week and the week after.

Re: 8Cr Alternative
Those are definitely huge price jumps, but I am curious if a BD1N Tenacious would be closer to 8Cr at $56 or S35VN at $120. Maybe 8Cr is just that much ridiculously cheaper than anything else when made in China.
The C220 Polestar features almost exactly what you're looking for - something very ...
