I'm in an eastern European country rn and there were several spydercos at a fleamarket going for $18 usd. S30v. If I go back I'll try and take some pics since they're definitely illegitimate.

Spyderco needs a web programmer to work their magic so any forum post that mentions a knife model name automatically links that word to the store search results for that model, with mouseover showing a preview of the first result. Well I resisted it last week but caved today, $107 was a pretty good deal. Only my second spyderco, first brand new.

Maybe if it's real wootz or something exotic like a damascus with copper layer... but nah. Pattern weld stuff is often quite lame.

Thought I'd get some to gift to people, having about a 50% success rate there. Hopefully they'll replace or refund. [Edit: They refunded the broken one pretty much immediately.]
