Re: Endela (-sized "middle ground" knife) in the "Pac Salt family"?!

I'd like to get the cruwear Endela but it's never in stock. Yes to an Endela Salt, and I too would love to try the Cruwear variant. I put my email address in to be notified when it's back in stock so fingers crossed that happens...someday... Be fast. I received an email notification a few months ba...

Re: Sage series collection - What's the next Sage?

Still hoping for the Snecx Superlock or the Demko Shark-Lock for the Sage 6. I think it fits with the theme of the Sage series if Spyderco can attribute the lock to a particular person. Hi Riclaw, I tried to communicate with Demko a number of times over the past few years since he broke with Lynn, ...

Re: Sage series collection - What's the next Sage?

A coil spring design is more reliable (longer-lasting) than the current Omega spring design. I guess it's just harder to make an Axis lock with a coil spring? Why else wouldn't BM or another mfg make an Anthem 2.0 or clone?

Re: Sage series collection - What's the next Sage?

The Crossbar (Axis) Lock seems to be gaining much more in popularity since the Benchmade patent ran out in 2016 (you still can’t call it Axis lock due to trademarks). I’ve gotten several impressive ones from various brands with different names for the Crossbar Lock: — Hogue - ABLE Lock — Kershaw - ...

Re: Lil' Temp 3 & Short Thick Blades

On mine the blade won't drop shut without loosening the pivot too far. That makes it a two handed closer. I have great hopes for the Bodacious. Maybe one of these methods will work for you? I'm right handed. On my WolfSpyder (which will not drop shut ever), I operate the compression lock with my mi...

Re: Lil' Temp 3 & Short Thick Blades

I have the LT3 LWT SE. I like the blade and handle shape. I don't like the pocket clip. It doesn't slide in and out of the pocket easily enough to be an EDC. Spyderco could use the clip from the Shaman or Native 5 so that there are aftermarket deep carry options. Give the clip a landing pad like the...

Re: Can I has: MAGNACUT PARA 3 LW.

If the pair of these I ordered work out like I hope they do, there will be more P3 LWs in my future, definitely including a MagnaCut. https://heinnie.com/titech-titanium-scales-for-para-3-lightweight/ Are these and the AWT scales the only options for the Para 3 LWT? I like AWT but not the "ski...

Re: Is there a quintessential Spyderco?

The Mule Team exemplifies the ideals that make Spyderco a great knife company . They're always striving to make a better cutting tool. The Gayle Bradley 2 in Cruwear or the Ayoob are examples of Spyderco as an ethical company . GB has a video interview where he says he works on a handshake. Years la...

Re: MangaSlice - The Next Breakthrough in Knife Steel

I think it would be a cool novelty gift if Spyderco did make the SpyderSpork. I'd buy one if it came on a G10 Para 3 handle. Smaller than the PM2. Still easy to clean construction. Could slap a reblade on it if I got tired of the fork. Does anyone have any experience with Gersh Blades? https://www.g...

Good points, Wartstein. I have the Sage 1 and carry it because it's easy to close safely. The choil hits my thumb instead of the edge.
