Re: Vote: Kick? Choil? Forward? Other?

Depends on the pattern. Spyderco never forgot that a folding knife can, well, fold. The choil provides that extra level of safety while still allowing the user to get right up next to the blade.

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

I sent off a short email to support@dackoutdoors.com asking about my order. I'll let you know what they say.

The bold and highlighted text above is an either/or scenario. Either on-hand or via supplier. It's not a guarantee that merch is on-site and ready to ship.

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

Well, wish me luck fellers. I ordered a Ti Endura. Should be a few left. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SX529QW?psc=1&smid=A3GZEOQINOCL0Y&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp Decided to roll those dice myself. It’ll be pretty sweet if it works out. What are the odds it's counterfeit? I don't order on Amazon ...

Re: Napoleon 2023

Well, poo. Sorry to hear that. Can't say I'm shocked, though. Historical accuracy is modern Hollywood's Waterloo. For any film that I'm on the fence about watching, I like to check Pitch Meeting, Honest Trailers, and the Critical Drinker on YouTube. These short reviews give me an idea whether or not...

I have the FRN, but I have a hunch if you polish this G10 it would be gorgeous.
I'd love to see that. I smoothed the texture on my Ritter small RSK with mixed results.

Ok, that's hilarious. If you have your speakers turned on the 2024 Product Guide makes the sound of pages flipping when you click the next arrow. I never noticed that before.

Delica 4 Wharncliffe I got for a song. Brand new in box. Think I’m going to void the warranty and post in the Modification gallery! :winking-tongue Oh? What's the plan? I've enjoyed installing Flytanium Ti backspacers on mine. Gonna grind the spine down and swap the blade into a set for Gray FRN sc...

Has there been any word on the Bowie PM2 or Edgerati prototypes?

Which video is this? I didn't see it in George, David, or TC's video.

Found it. It's the DLT Trading video.

Re: Benchmade Knife Company

My all-time favorite is the M390/aluminum Bugout 535BK-4. The materials, design, and craftsmanship are superb.

When I've called Customer Care to get a different pocket clip or send in a knife for sharpening, the reps have always been both polite and helpful.

Got in on that DACK deal for a Cruwear PM2, thank you Richard. I’m more a full-size military guy but I have to see what the hype is about. Good deals; I want to see those Technos when y’all get em! Your welcome. I'm glad to have a way to contribute to the forum. My only concern is how thin the mica...

I've got a Kershaw Livewire in the mail. First OTF I've purchased. Let us know what you think of the Livewire. Action? Ergos? Sound? I got my first OTF, a BM Shootout, last week. I love the blade shape and the handle ergos. Only negative is the sound it makes when it fires, kind of a ker-chunk plas...

I bought some micarta scales for my Delica from there. They are pretty nice, I like them quite a bit. Shipping took a little over a month to the U.S. though.
Thanks!

Re: Handle Scale Vendors

Thanks :) Its me thats making them, I really liked the Chaparall. Just to add one more option in Europe (Sweden) - a friend of mine got into scale making and did a few carbon fiber scale sets for my PM2 and an absolutely gorgeous set of pure carbon fiber scales that are extra thick (by 1mm per side...

Re: Looking for thoughts on Caly 3.5 vs. GB2

Hello! Looking for a stout fully lined folding knife that preferably has backlock, but definitely not compression lock (i have quite a few). The sweet spot in range for blade length is 2.5"-3.25". Ultimately, I'd love a fully lined Stretch in G10 (not the XL) with an upgraded steel, but t...

Re: What’s your favourite exclusive for future models?

Knifejoy has the best exclusives. Satin 20CV and Neon Green G10 for when basic black gets too repetitive. Satin 20CV and Steel Blue FRN for low-key everyday carry. Good choice of models, too. Lil'Native, Manix, Para 3, Delica, Damascus Endela, Endura.
