Re: Spydie Chef, clip infill screw
I have the one knife, a Spydie Chef, I believe now made for several years. It would be practicable for the manufacturer to know what parts are being used in the construction of a singular product made over several years, if not for its own inventory management at least. Yes I agree I caused my dilem...

Re: Spydie Chef, clip infill screw
Thanks for the M3 confirmation Giygas and thanks for the accu.co.uk ref mekidear. Ordered a couple of M3x3mm T10 Torx Button screws, black stainless steel(A2) that’s the smallest M3 size I can find in the UK. Thread fits great but still a bit long. Using a pair of pliers, screw in the wire cutter pa...

Re: Spydie Chef, clip infill screw
Why don’t Spyderco just list the screws used in making their knives, what’s to hide? Re: Spydie Chef, clip infill screw
Grinding down a screw of this size would be nigh on impossible for me to do. I really don’t want to start removing the pivot screw, as in theory this would invalidate the warranty! Surely someone out their knows the screw size I need and where I could buy it.

Spydie Chef, clip infill screw
I am removing the pocket clip from my new Spydie Chef, keeping it in a slip case. Obviously I can’t use the original clip screw to infill the hole left as it is now too long without the clip being installed. UK based, finding it hard to source a new fill in screw. Can anyone tell me the screw size a...

Spydie chef clip removed I need a shorter screw
Just received a new Spydiechef. I use the knife without the pocket clip installed. As the screw used to fix the pocket clip is too long when re-installed without the pocket clip, can anyone tell me what is the actual shorter screw size that is installed on the other side. I wrote to Spyderco asking ...
