Knife Center Native 5 Salt in magnacut
Is this thing ever going to be available? I saw it a month or two ago, and it's still not released yet. I LOVE my m4 from BladeHQ, but I think the magnacut would be a better EDC steel. Is that going to be released, or has it been killed off? I want one, but I'm wondering if getting the Hogue Deka mi...

I use the corner of the stone and just lightly drag it across. Works well, but I do need to refine my technique. The knife is the bomb for $35! And if the Hawkbill blade doesn't appeal, the Meadowlark comes in a wicked SE Wharnie version. I think you need both! I do. https://i.imgur.com/FjwE7oO.jpg...

Re: Canadian Opening Action
Several years ago I ordered a left handed folder from Canadian knife maker Kirby Lambert. I met him at the Blade Show Atlanta Ga. to take delivery. As I was examing the knife and testing the opening and closing he stopped me and said I need to loosen the pivot screw a bit. Told me that to avoid any...

Re: Hawbill doing what it does best
I have never had a hawkbill, but I am amazed at how useful my Gerber EZ-Out Rescue has been. I think a hawkbill will definitely be it's replacement though.
How do you sharpen it? Drag it through the sharpmaker, or individually hone each "tooth" with the corner of the medium rod?

Re: History of the Wharncliffe
Is that company good to buy from? Curious about getting a Hogue Deka in magnacut from them since they're the only ones with it in stock I can find.

Re: Canadian Opening Action
Is it that they require two hand to open? If so, then I would add my experience with my Gerber Gator in 154cm. It is basically the most grippy handle, with one of my favorite blade shapes. The issue is that it can't go in my pocket because it's so grippy and it barely fits in the "sheath" ...
