Re: Everyone ready for the rut?
Got some late season daytime action happening and our biggest buck on camera is still around apparently. I was supposed to hunt this weekend but I'm down with a nasty chest cold... thinking I might tough it out and go tomorrow and chase this one...

I wonder if the flytanium metal cage will work on these? If so I might have to aquire one and put my tritium cage in there.

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
I love those CZs! They are just a solid accurate platform.
I bought a TX22 since they have a FRT for them. So breaking it in before I mess with the FRT parts.
Also I'm getting ready for my Lima Six to ship next month... takes me about 2 hours to link 500 rounds lol.

Re: What Rifle and Caliber combo for deer season?
I have a Remington 700 featherweight in .270 that is over 50 years old. It's action is slick as glass and it is way more accurate than I. It's killed countless amount of deer and a few coyotes as well.

Manixguy that's a bummer, hope you can still find time to make it out.
Salty I've been there. Work kept me home but then I saw this guy daylighting... always the case.

Re: Everyone ready for the rut?
Our season's been pretty slow. 3 bucks were taken, only one we had on camera but no real monsters. It was 82 degrees and windy for rifle opener. I haven't had a chance to hunt below 50 degrees... just a crazy warm season this year.
Seen lots of does and a few small bucks. Our guys took a huge 2 ...

Re: Everyone ready for the rut?
We had this guy on camera. One of our guys had his son out and hit him with a xbow at about 10 yards around 5pm. Apparently lost blood tail around 250yrds in the dark so they backed out and then searched all day yesterday with no sign of him.
One of our buddies found him this morning after the ...

For AR optics you've got sound advice above. I'll also comment and say try them out if possible.

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
The BG2.0 is about perfect and certainly outshoots and out classes the rest of the 380 pocket pistols.
It truly handles like a full size gun, and its so far beyond the original bodyguard 1.0 is not even close.
Mines been with me allot this summer as it's a great shorts and t shirt gun. Falls ...

Re: Fishing
Spent the weekend in Arkansas chasing trout but fishing was pretty lack luster with lots of heavy flow on the white river.
We've had crazy amounts of rain in this water basin. Last time I was at the ranch these were our roads... nothing like breaking in a week old truck lol

Re: What are people’s CCW?
In gym shorts I'll carry a S&W bodyguard 2.0 in a Kydex IWB holster. It's just a fantastic little pistol and shoots like a much larger gun.
In regular pants I'll carry either a HK45C with 8+1 in a CompTac CTAC IWB holster, or if I'm going somewhere I feel it warrants more capacity I'll carry a ...

Re: Favorite pocket gun?
If you haven't had a chance to try a bodyguard2.0 you should. At $350 there simply isn't another pocket pistol that shoots as easily as the 2.0.
S&W really hit it out of the park with this one. A huge improvement over the 1st gen, it's not even a fair comparison.

Re: Fishing
What's crazy is she'll only swim up if it's just me. If a friend or one of my kids is with me she keeps her distance. I do fish this pond everyday just about. I also typically wear a white or light colored fishing hoodie so I guess she's patterned me for a free meal.
