Question about Sage 6 Sprint Run S90V
Hi,
It’s not clear online whether this version comes with solid carbon fiber handles or peel ply G10 / Carbon Fiber handles?
See this listing as an example. Says Peel Ply in the heading but “solid carbon fiber” in the description. It’s the same discrepancy on many other websites.

Re: Upping the price.
Prices are getting out of control and all this "CQI" business is annoying as it just devalues every knife pre the CQI changes. A slap in the face to be honest on most of their high end knives. I am not sure why they can't get it right first time, e.g. they know steel detents wear fast and ceramic do ...

That doesn't look good at all on such an expensive knife... or even a $50 knife for that matter.

Price is crazy, this costs more than a large Sebenza over here in the UK by some margin!

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
But it's possible to overdo the hype-up as well. Though I'm not there yet ^^
People seem to use "hype" as a way of saying something isn't as good as it was made out to be, like with MagnaCut for example which has more than proved itself IMO. I think the Military 2 will be the same for ...

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
Seems like a little suspense never hurts sales either, the longer a model is anticipated the stronger the desire for it seems to brew. This particular model has probably been brewing for 10+ years at least in speculation and rumor, or at least since the Para 2 came out and people started ...

Re: CPM 15V PM2
Added AWT Agent burnt bronze scales to my 15V PM2. Feels like a premium knife now.
Looks good. I like the bevel on the handles edge.
The bevels make it so much more comfortable. I wish Spyderco would at least chamfer the G10 scales on the PM2 like they do for the Para 3.
Are these ...

Yojimbo 2 tip strength for EDC
Hello,
I recently bought a couple of Yojimbo 2's, as shown here. I like them a lot for their ergos and looks. (Not into self defense etc...)
How strong is that tip for EDC though? Do many break? Just wondering how strong it is before i start slicing open all manner of every day packages and boxes ...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
I was surprised to receive this today from Japan, as I only ordered it eight days ago. This was a fantastic deal on Amazon that I found through an accidental googling, but could not locate through Amazon site searches.

Yes, the prices seem totally realistic... they also have models in stock which have been discontinued for 12+ months... this website must be very special indeed...

Re: Over looked Gem
I always thought it looked like a mafia captain's knife. Missed out on calling it the Spyderco Gambino.
Haha great post!
They should create a series of these knives and call it the "Spyderco Gabagool range"... for slicing various meats... and any people who get in your way...
To me it also ...

Re: Over looked Gem
The only issue with this knife is it looks a bit like a weapon. I think that's why it's not super popular. I may be wrong so apologies if so... It took me a long time to warm up to the Yojimbo 2 for this reason, but then i realized it could be used like a razor blade for fine cutting or to slice ...
