Cannot post a thread with links.

Hi 04.09.2022 about 03:40 UTC +2 I have tried to post a thread on Spyderco Counterfeits, Clones, Replicas, etc. and I got according message "Forbidden. Contains contacts. Browser seems to be spambot." Had it something to do with the fact that I tried to post links to the offers which i bel...

Re: Your value line knives

I reacently (this Thursday) got an Spyderco Persistance (which is btw my first Spyderco knife). The build quality is really good as for a "value" line knife, although the edges of the hole are a little bit on the sharp side (but again it is my first Spyderco so maybe it should be this way)...

Re: Why should one buy spyderco knife?

Hi MillingMachine, Cost difference is due to Country of Origin and Blade Steel. Personally, I would suggest a Delica, Full Flat VG-10 plain edge (Japan) of a Para 3 full flat S30V plain edge (USA) and go from there. I designed the Delica and my son Eric designed the Para 3. I do not believe you wil...

Re: Why should one buy spyderco knife?

Let's suppose that above comments convinced me to possibly buy a Spyderco knife. But why should I buy "Spyderco" Spyderco knife instead of "Byrd" Spyderco knife? More precisely I have been looking for something to replace my Victorinox 84 mm pocket knife and I came accross the By...

Hole and teeth, that’s why ! :winking-tongue
What are the benefits of using a knife with a serated blade? It seems for me that it would make it even more expensive as one would have to buy dedicated sharpening tool.

Why should one buy spyderco knife?

Hi I know it may be a kind of offensive question to ask on Spyderco forum, but what makes Spyderco knife worth buying more than other brands? I am asking from a perspective of someone who is not really into knives collecting and such things, but instead just want a simple, decent tool to cut stuff f...

Need help in checking the authenticity of bird robin

Hi Recently I have been browsing web in search of small EDC knife when I came across some byrd and spyderco knives. However I am concerned that they might be fake as on the one of the offers on the byrd robin knife there are weird holes in the scales which are not present on the other byrd robin pho...
