Re: Has Anyone Used a Spyderco Folder for Field Dressing?

Dressed a deer with a folder couple o'times. Works just fine if you have a blade with a hook. Still kinda prefer fixed blades for field dressing overall. Some good info there on comparison for those two(my fav from https://gunicorns.com/ gun blog)

Re: The Last Gun You Bought

Recently ordered a new CZ 527, mostly for hogs and predators(this summer there were soooo many hogs around). Probably going to pick up a Silencerco for it and something like Vortex or Leupold scope, not really sure yet which one to get. Might just dismount one from my old .308 hunting rifles from h...

Re: Fishing

Even if you don't have a rig, fishing still is the most accessible past time I'd say ever. After all can always find spots to fish at the shore. Recently picked up myself a TFO Pro III rod( been browsing for options for some time, found a few good guides - https://gritroutdoors.com/expert-guides-tut...

Re: The Feared Kukri

Kukri is an interesting mix of knife and axe imo, but after using one couple o times I think it's not suited that well for local wood. I've been sweating trying to chop a small tree like no tomorrow, meanwhile takes only couple o' minutes to chop it with a my small axe I've got from outdoor sports s...
