Re: Does anyone else like Pro-tech knives.
I waited since last summer to get a wharncliffe textured Malibu with Magnacut. Finally got it a couple weeks ago and it quickly became my all-time favorite knife. Dropped it in the kitchen and the flipper tab broke off. Protech hasn't responded yet to my inquiry to purchase a replacement blade. I'm ...

Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
Whoever got one from Redhill Cutlery, I emailed to confirm the order and they said good-to-go, should ship Monday or Tuesday. He said they were tracking stock, so no overselling. thanks for the tip on that one Buddafucco!

Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman
And only because I like comparison shots… It’s really hard to capture in a photo the depth and reflection you get from the patina. Different angles of the light change the darkness and color. In bright light it just looks cloudy. Kinda kills the blues and golds. Also, the forum only lets you attach ...

Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman
Here’s how purdy CPM M4 gets when you use it real good. No rust yet. Patina on the blade and the Micarta... I like it! A before and after... those are both M4, right? Yup! They’re twins. I keep a backup of all my favorite things, especially when availability is limited. This configuration was too g...

Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman
You guys need to stop watching all the clowns on youtube that nit pick every little aspect of a knife. The Shaman is such an easy knife to work with in terms of disassembly and maintenance. Grow a set and give it 5 minutes of your time, you'll be happy with the results. If it's not rubbing...it's n...

Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman
I don’t mind tinkering with a new knife, or anything for that matter, to get it perfect. I DO have a problem when something is so far out of spec that it won’t allow you to adjust it to a desired result. All my Spyderco knives were easily adjusted to perfection. A couple of my ZT knives, however, we...

Also want to say how gross it is that so many of these are on ebay right now, y’all are missing out on a good one to make a little extra change. These aren’t enthusiasts, they’re scalpers, man. BUY TO USE!

Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman
Got this sucker last Thursday and was really digging the look. Wasn’t sure what to expect from the M4 or Micarta, as far as wear-in, just knew they’d both take on a natural patina. Thing was off-center, tight rough action, but I played with it a while, gave it a full tune-up, oil change and put it t...
