Re: Kapara s90v burlap micarta KnifeCenter exclusive

I have always said that I would buy any Kapara variant that came out, but I wasn’t in a good spot to buy this one when it came out. I figured I would eventually have to pick one up on the secondary market when funds allow. Well my wife surprised me and picked one up for me. I gotta say that it’s my ...

Re: Spyder Folks, convince me on the Endela.

I haven’t tried an endura, but I want to. I stumbled across a sweetheart deal in a k390 endela and picked it up. I immediately hated it. I used it hard for several weeks at work and it grew on me to the point it’s right up there with my favorites for work, which are usually larger. The resilience ...

Re: Please Tell Me About 15V

Just got my 15v para 3 lw Monday! Glad it was indeed in the works! I like the stonewash and the color is good. Mine showed up missing a stop pin screw, but I had a spare laying around.

Re: Fixing Lock Rock in Seki FRN lockbacks

I have a stretch 2xl salt that the lock rock is very noticeable and I would send it back if I hadn’t dyed it already. That said, I have been using it as a short machete against blackberry vines and it’s not unlocked on me or anything. It is annoying when whittling and things like that but it’s ...

Mine is the DLT Kapara 20cv. I love it. Actual series it would be the TKJ forest green and cruwear.

Re: S110v to delicate more of a safe queen???

I carry S110v everyday. I have a half dozen or so S110v Spyderco. I use two flat stones, an ultra fine Spyderco stone and a 600 grit diamond plate. I’ve carried at least one of these knives everyday for a very long time. Never… I’ll repeat that.. Never had the any of the issues that are often ...

Re: Sharpening Dual Grit Edges

Good to have you here Gabe! I have dabbled in the dual grit edge myself in the earliest days of your YouTube channel. I found it impressive, but I haven’t kept up with it due to laziness when it comes to sharpening lately. One stone and a couple swipes on the stop for me lately. I might need to ...

Choil-less Shaman? Is that still in the works?

Yes! It is in prototype stage but looks closed to finished. It has a thinner blade stock too.

Has there been a photo of it out or anything? Thinner blade stock sounds very nice. I quite enjoy my shaman, though it seems to be cursed. Every time ...

Re: Dream Salt Knives

I would love it with frn but I’m quite partial to the compression lock or back lock even. I would still probably buy it with a liner lock but I wouldn’t like it as much and would likely not carry it often.

I understand, preferring linerlocks over comp.locks is just personal ...

Re: Dream Salt Knives

I pray for a Kapara salt all the time. I haven’t tried lc200n but I have several magnacut blades and I find it to behave like a stainless cruwear with perhaps a touch less edge stability. I think it would work well on a Kapara.

Re: New Stretch 2 XL: Compared to PM2 & Endura

I recently picked up a lightweight and the geometry is very nice on it. It’s one of my favorites to cut with. I look forward to the salt version and the k390 version. I have been wanting to try k390 anyway.

Re: Will 15v become regular production for flagships?

I haven’t been fortunate enough to snag a 15v folder yet. That being said I hope it does make it into full production models. If a para 3 is done in 15v I will be trying hard to get one.
