Re: T15 Mule owners... What you guys think?
I think we communicated a little bit about the cerakote but my suggestion would be to reach out to your local gun shops to see if any of them do cerakote. I get mine done by Tate at Black Boar Rifles in the neighboring town of Georgetown, TX. We did! Mine is at a local gun store getting Cerakoted a...

Re: T15 Mule owners... What you guys think?
I like it a lot. It takes a nice edge and holds it very well in my use. It does rust easily, though. Of course, part of that may be from opening water softener salt bags, which I do often. It doesn't seem quite as agressive as K294, but with a lower grit edge it hangs right in there. So far, my exp...

Congratulations! Which grips did you go with? I went with a pair of matte OD green from this seller on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1309970742/spyderco-mule-scales-3d-printed?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=spyderco+mule+handle&re...

Re: First mule team knife
So, I may not have followed the poll (decided by one vote), but I definitely listened to your suggestions and the suggestion of the very helpful employee at the Spyderco factory outlet! My first mule is in T15! I got the one that felt most likely to not be available first! I definitely plan on buyin...

First mule team knife
Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the forum and new to different knife steels. So far, I've got experience with some lower quality steels and some experience (little) with higher quality (CPM D2, H1, VG-10). I'm looking at buying my first mule team knife, but with all the available choices, I have paralys...

Re: Pound for pound the highest performing Spyderco is...
I recently purchased a ladybug (about two weeks ago) fast forward to last night, I'm a groomsman at my brother's wedding. Not wanting to carry anything larger, I threw that little ladybug in my jacket pocket. That little ladybug got a ton of use for little mundane cutting tasks that I would not have...

I'm glad that I found this thread, I've recently been thinking about getting a street beat, and I think this has made my decision for me!

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
Just bought my first ladybug! I can't wait to have a key chain knife or one to use on ladybugs! You're going to love it. We have 4 in my house, plus a manbug. Thanks! I handled a buddy of mine's ladybug and I thought it was perfect for a Keychain and as a discreet box opener. It will be my first VG...

Re: H2 Steel
Regardless of performance, it may be worth it to buy a few more H1 knives for the collected aspect of it. Then, 20 years from now, I can tell my progeny "they don't make 'em like they used to."🤣 H1 will still be good for a paper weight in 20 years :thinking You and me should team up to se...

Re: CPM REX 76, CPM REX T15, AND M398 and MT2!
I'm looking at buying my first mule (or two with this new list), and I've been eying a knife in CPM SPY27 anyways. Where could I get a sheath for a flat backed mule?

Re: spyderco signal mirror
That's a great idea for a woods/survival knife. My compass has a mirror, so I always figured I'd use that if I were in a pinch, but having multiple signal mirrors isn't a bad idea. I don't have a lot of eclectic with polishing knives though. Honestly, I've always been one for finishes to prevent re...
