Optimum angle for durability and edge retention. I can't speak for everyone, but that's the only thing that interests me about this material.

Got mine in today and the factory did a decent sharpening job. Edges look even and the color is gorgeous in person. The factory edge cuts newspaper OK. Got caught up in a work meeting and forgot about thiis Mule drop. Went on a few minutes ago and was pleasantly surprised that everything went very smoothly. No delays and checkout was less than 5 minutes.

Nothing like the Magnacut Mule experience.
