Hate to be the price guy, but… wow!
Sage 6 Rex now in line with Chris Reeve Sebenzas. Didn’t think I’d see the day.

Re: Pick One Favorite.
For me first it was the Sage 5, then the CruCarta PM2, then the Slysz Bowie, and now it’s the GB2. Ask me in a year and it will have been 3 others…

I’m just a sucker for the M4, hollow grind, and liner lock. It’s an actual Sebenza killer - but don’t tell my Sebenzas I said that.

Sharpening serrations
I just got my first serrated spydie, a trade for a half serrated PM3. The serrations are butter knife dull though and have been rounded off a bit. Any hints on sharpening methods or equipment? I’m guessing a tapered diamond rod?
Thanks for any pointers!

Thanks Mike!Michael Janich wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 6:45 amDear SnackPack:
If you email customerservice@spyderco.com, they can send you a replacement screw. They may ask you so send a quick photo of the knife to confirm the model and screw that's missing.
Stay safe,
Mike

Looks like the upper limit of Boise St. fans that carry PM2s has been reached by the cuteryshoppe run.

Replacement screws
Just took delivery of a new Native 5 M4 model and lo and behold there is only one pivot screw on the knife!! I was curious why there was so much play when it was closed so I suppose I’m glad this is the reason.
However, now I have to find a replacement. I mean, I’m fairly certain it’s meant to have ...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
GB2. Ordered it after 3 days of searching for my lost GB1. Figured I’d get it before the price went up. Needless to say, the GB1 surfaced a few hours after placing the order.
You can always send me the GB1, will be happy to reduce your ear ringing.. :winking-tongue

HRC Question
Can anyone tell me what the HRC is on the CTS-XHP on the Chaparral?
Does the HRC vary from production location, or does Spyderco source their steel from the same stock and send to the different production locations?
Thanks!
Zac

New Here and Reflections on Value
Hi all, I'm new here. Although a lurker for a while, and contributor on other boards I've never created a profile here before. I wanted to post some thoughts on what Spyderco has done for my knife use, collecting, buying and selling.
