Pretty practical designs, fairly derivative and incremental, not is flashy creative or interesting as some other shops but they work well.
The main aspect where Spyderco really stands out to me is their experimentation and use of different steels. That's really what drew me to them a couple ...

What do you see differently about Spyderco than other companies.
Just out of curiosity, as I’m a bit of a neophyte in the knife world compared to many of you. What is it about Spyderco you find most different from other knives or knife manufacturers? Just wondering.

Thanks for explaining. I had not though of a few of your issues but knowing how models have changed over years I can see how it might be a problem. You'd probably have to hire people just to stock, store and inventory every screw and clip you've ever made. Not sure I'd be willing to take that on ...
