Re: Price increases for 2024
So, did anything get more expensive? And by how much? I didn´t check the prices for quite a while, and they don't seem wild to me now (Jan 2).

Re: Reveal 14 Live!
Wow!
The Bodacious looks a little goofy, cant quite put my finger on it. But at the same time really compelling and "different". Will certainly try one!
Apart from that, the Military2 variants are surprising , and will make me try the model finally.

Re: Spyderco Online Factory Seconds Sale!
Spyderco is first and foremost a knifemaker, not a dedicated online knife seller.
I appreciate this online sale, because it gave me an opportunity I wouldn´t otherwise have had. And while it took about an hour for me, in the end I got the knives I wanted. So thank you, Mr Spyderco!

Re: Spyderco Online Factory Seconds Sale!
Took 1 hour from being able to load the seconds page, to putting knives into my cart , to entering my master card. But now I have a confirmation email. I hope there won´t be issues down the road with the credit card, but since this is the third time I´ve ordered from Spyderco.com, I am hopeful. Mili...

Re: CPM 15V PM2
The european market for these seems to be a bit more chill. Although that luxury comes with the premium of relatively higher price. The PM2 is in stock still at one dealer, and even the Manix at another. I couldn´t resist the PM2. This is now my insurance in case I can´t score one of the upcoming mu...

Re: CPM 15V PM2
So are these 15V sprint drops comparable to the Shaman Micarta Cruwear from a few years ago? The latter often gets mentioned as a very difficult to obtain piece.

Re: S110V question
My experience. I am sharpening with DMT Diamond and Spyderco CBN. It takes a longer time to get to a certain level of sharpness than K390. It is still very doable though, and shouldn´t take a crazy long time like hours or something. My S110V knife nicely shaves off the arms of my legs and arms, and ...

Re: Seki Made Phil Wilson Design?
The K390 Enuff 2 made me think about it. A Phil Wilson Design (Meadows Skinner ? ? ) , with FRN handles, and K390. That would be nice indeed I think. (I ´ll get the Enuff 2 anyway) Why specifically a Seki Japan made new knife? A new design could be made anywhere, and cost of production has typicall...

Re: Reveal 12 Live!
K390 Enuff and 15V Mule will be necessary to get for me. Those will bridge the gap until the Stretch XL in K390 arrives.
Btw, the Military 2 is significantly less expensive than the military 1 , more comparable to a pm2. wow.

Re: Price increases 2023?
I have to "cry and moan" a bit about the prices in Europe. One of the large knife online shops ( k&t ) now has the Shaman for 335 Eur ( 358 USD) Manix Lightweight S110V for 243 Eur ( 260 USD) Native 5 S110V for 312 Eur ( 333 USD) Native Chief for 268 Eur ( 286 USD) Native 5 Lightweight...

Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
In that SiC sharpened edge, are the vanadium carbides are buried under the matrix? Is that why we're not seeing the carbides (black dots)? This is from the matrix burnishing over them? I thought you would get blunt carbides that weren't shaped by the softer abrasive The lower row of pictures are th...

Re: Mid-sized Native?
I am hereby showing my interest. I want to really like the Native 5, because it is aesthetically beautiful , extremely ergonomic and simple. But it is consistently too small for me. Similar to the endela splitting the difference between delica and endura, I´d say there is definitive room for a nief ...

Very much looking forward to this guy, especially in S110V, if that ever happens. Maybe in some years.
Will be a strict upgrade to the Paramilitary 2 for me.

Some of these may take 10 years or may never exist. Stretch XL in K390. Native Chief (G10 or FRN) in S110V. Shaman XL in S30V or S110V. Any other of the Shaman variants in-the-works in S30V or S110V. Military or Native Chief in 15V. A Spyderco version of Phil Wilson´s Meadows Skinner design in S110V...

Is that a stonewash finish?
EDIT: I had thought the Manix comes with Satin finish, but was wrong.
