Manix 2 Crucarta. Birthday gift from a buddy and I haven't put it down yet.

The Ikuchi. I finally got the hang of the opening 'wheel' and tiny compression lock. Love this thing now.

Spyderco Roc. Wasn't expecting to like this knife as much as I do.

The Smock. I've learned to stop babying it, and actually use it to cut things with. Lol.

Chaparral Lightweight. I have the Sun & Moon, but it's exclusively used as a gent's knife. It'll see pocket time whenever I'm wearing a sport coat, which isn't often these days. So the LW version will go into my light duty EDC rotation.

Harpy SS serrated. Should be here any minute.

Manix 2 LW (translucent blue).

Sage 5 carbon fiber. Arrives today, and I'm glad I got one because that model has been discontinued.

The James Brand Folsom is my only BD1 blade, and the 'N' does seem to make a difference in blade performance. I'm on ranch property so I tend to use my knives more often and harder than I would have when I was a city slicker. The Manix 2 LW is a nice alternative to my 'ranch specific' rotation ...

Rotating my two new Spydercos today - the Native 5 LW in cobalt blue, and the Manix 2 LW in translucent blue. Loving them both.

Native 5 (SPY27) arrives before Christmas…Manix 2 LW the day after.

Thanks for the responses, fellas. Sharp Guy, that's encouraging info. I'll probably hold out for the BD1N version, as I'm not in a hurry to add the Manix but I eventually want to add that knife to my Spyderco lineup. Something tells me that I'm going to love it.

I'd like to buy the Manix 2 Lightweight on Amazon, which is at the moment selling for $113. However, it is described and pictured as having CTS-BD1 steel, not CTS-BD1N. Is this an older version of the knife? Blade HQ, KnifeCenter, etc. are selling only the CTS-BD1N version. Perhaps Amazon is blowing ...
