Maybe try to talk Sal into a PE Stretch 2 XL LC200N Salt?

Re: Dragonfly vs. Lil' Native
There’s an upcoming lil Native lightweight with blade stock the same as a Dragonfly or Delica. Looking forward, I’d expect that turns into a Salt version eventually. The Emerson opener Dragonfly is really cute. 🥰 Edit: I’m pretty biased in that my most used knife lately is a serrated lil Native. I c...

Re: Dragonfly vs. Lil' Native
I prefer the Lil Native to the dragonfly, but they don't get jealous, so you can have both. for me, the lil Native is better. The lil Native is available in a compression lock, mid back lock, or a slip joint. There's also a wharncliffe version. If I'm going to clip it, I''ll take the compression loc...

Re: PM2 Slippy G10
There was a forest green g-10 s45vn sprint with diamond arc (?) texture which was very very grippy. Too much for a lot of people.
The new PM2 Salt would probably be a good thing to try.

Re: Lil' Temp 3 & Short Thick Blades
... They entire Military line is a bit odd in that they have a very thick blade stock (0.145" or 3.7mm for all of them), but taper to a pretty fine point. I guess it is just a unique design feature. It is more apparent in person, but the Para 3 has a fairly stout tip compared to the others in ...

Re: Sage series collection - What's the next Sage?
Do I recall Sal mentioning a plunge lock (button lock) being considered in a future Sage?

Re: Sage series collection - What's the next Sage?
Sometimes, I covet those Sage 4s. If any one needs a "comeback", it's that one. I can always wish. replace the Ti bolster with smooth polished grey G-10 and the wood with jigged brown G-10 with a little black dye. Go for something similar to this in appearance: https://blogger.googleuserco...

Re: Lil' Temp 3 & Short Thick Blades
I have the LT3 LWT SE. I like the blade and handle shape. I don't like the pocket clip. It doesn't slide in and out of the pocket easily enough to be an EDC. Spyderco could use the clip from the Shaman or Native 5 so that there are aftermarket deep carry options. Give the clip a landing pad like th...

Re: Tip Up vs Tip Down Poll
Interesting, I did not know they left out the holes by the pivot on the Bodacious. That makes me even more interested in it. I do not like unused holes all over the scales. It is one reason I prefer aftermarket scales. They just look cleaner. Except on the Military. I think it looks great even thou...

Re: Is this the knife everyone clamors for?
Oh, never thought about bending a factory spring. Might be fun to try out. Always thought I had to make my own replacement If needed ! Interesting that you chaps want stronger springs. On all of my Spyderco back locks, I've bent the springs to provide less tension. We all have are own ideas about w...

Re: Is this the knife everyone clamors for?
I was gonna say that I feel like my Backlock Manix 2 feels a bit soft spring-wise. Still love it ! @cjk saw what you did there :winking-tongue Mine was soft too. I took it apart and bent the spring a bit more. It now snaps shut just like it wanted to be a 3.5 inch Native. 😁 Oops, I did it again. 🤣😜

Re: Is this the knife everyone clamors for?
Is this the knife everyone really wants? Here me out. People decried it because it had such a thick blade and other complaints. However, when one looks at the specs, it has the same blade thickness, and close to the same specs as other well loved knives and none of their detriments. ... Add to this...

Re: CRUWEAR Is now my Favorite SE blade steel
I have a SE Cruwear Ayoob. I bought a factory second because I was interested in serrated Cruwear moreso than the design. It's a tremendous cutter, however the way the serrations are ground is different enough from other Spyderco models that I don't think it really teaches me all that much about the...

Re: Tip Up vs Tip Down Poll
Y’all “tip up or die” folks should try tip down for a bit. There’s nothing the least bit wrong with it at all. It’s much more flexible than tip up, especially with knives that depend on little detent balls to keep them closed. If a knife is setup for rhtd, it doesn’t seem the least bit weird to alte...

Re: Experienced Serrated Edge K390 users wanted.
… Off topic - Now that I type this, I recall @Evil D mentioning the Native 5 Magnacut SE being right about 15DPS from the factory. That may be a better option for someone to try out, though unfortunately being a bit thicker blade stock then some of the Seki options. Not sure if the LC200N and S30V ...
