Re: What would be your dream knife?
I'm a fan of the Spyderco Brouwer. I like that it has no hump and that it's very narrow in the pocket for a Spyderco. It gets out of the way when not in use very nicely. I really like the sturdy spear point blade. I don't like that I've had one come open in my pocket. I wouldn't mind if it was a ...

Re: What would be your dream knife?
The Abel Reels Native 5s were gorgeous, but super expensive.
@Mark!'s post makes me wonder if the Zome dye treatment could make something similarly interesting, but significantly more cost effective.

mostly. I have the knife half open, then interface the lock bar to the tang of the blade, then open it all the way keeping the lock bar in its notch in the blade. This lines up the hole for the barrel.

This is how I reassemble Seki lockbacks.

Hey Caly fans, try out a Spyderco UK Penknife (UKPK) if you haven't already. It will feel "oh so familiar".
The blue G-10 SPY27 one (C94GPCBL) is a super nice piece and very reasonably priced.

Re: Steel production/manufacturing
Why not just keep what is known?
NSMWARE = I dont like it, NSM Cruewear would be better. MSMWEAR just sounds like somebody trying too hard to make a name change without any good reason besides some type of insider stuff going on.
Same for S90V just stick NSM in front.
Nice thing about CPM It ...

Re: Dyad Jr. SPY27 Release
Hi David,
We wanted to add a lanyard hole of some type, but, everything we came up with was more challenging that we thought to incorporate into the knife.
We have another two bladed model that we've refined prototypes, but both blades lock and it has some other unique features, but the concern ...

forum searches using google no longer work
I used to search this forum using google with a search string like this:
"2024 discontinued list site:forum.spyderco.com"
Curiously this no longer works. This is what is returned for anything I search for using "site:forum.spyderco.com".

Mule team project list needs updating at spyderco.com
@TazKristi
The "Complete List of Mule Team Blades" at the bottom of the URL below could use an update.
It ends after MT41.

The Magnamax Mule was MT46 and has arrived and sold out. MT44 and 45 are in the latest reveal.

Re: Endela inspired Salt
I would prefer an Endela sized salt over the sizes that are available today, but I think that such a thing would mostly cannibalize sales from the other models.
If you need a salt knife, you need a salt knife. The Endela is a little shorter than an Endura, but not a lot.

Re: 15v Lil Native Backlock QC issues…
The tip on my 15V one does seem to have a little less coverage when closed than my S30V one, but it's not proud. The 15V one looks like it's been sharpened more. I cannot touch the tip with my finger no matter how hard I try.
