Re: Would you buy an “Emerson Wave” Endura in upgraded steel?
I’d honestly like to see the occasional sprint of the Emerson opener Seki models (Dragonfly 2, Delica 4, Endela, Endura 4). I rather like the Delica and Endela Emerson opener models. Grey FRN and Cruwear would be my preference. I’d pick SPY27 as a second choice.
How tough and resilient would ...

Re: Prices OMG Seriously?
I was wondering what people were complaining about until I saw the price of the new G10 UKPK salt, $100 more than the G10 SPY27 UKPK. Guess I’m sticking to my Spydiechef.
I made the same comparison. Then I looked at the difference between a G-10 SPY27 Para 3 and a DLC Para 3 G-10 Salt ($25 ...

Re: CHAPARRAL IVORY G-10 DAMASTEEL® actually linerless?
It was the case on the older Ti Chaps. But they could take the hit from the internal stop pin. I don't know if this one will keep the stop pin anyway, have a metal insert in the G10, or get rid of the stop pin altogether.
Yes, I could see the linerless G-10 Chaparral being a copy error or maybe ...

Re: Reveal 20 - Live!
I am very very interested to see a PM2 lightweight taken apart.
One washer or two or even none?
One liner or two or none other than the locking leaf?
I wonder if it has two washers and two shorter liners kinda like a Military 1?

Re: Native 1 Sprint anyone?
Figured I post this for more discussion fodder. I recently built this one up using my BBB brown G10 scales (blade went into my fluted Ti handles) and an OG-style blade. I sold it a few weeks ago (maybe I shouldn't have!). Cheers, Radioactive

Re: Clipless Carry - Who dares ?
I don’t remove the clips, but I regularly carry my pocketknife unclipped in my pocket. I like to keep the clip on so there’s a little more leverage or grip while opening one handed. I only do this with lockbacks and slip joints unless the knife is in a slip. Usually this is a Native 5, Delica ...

Here's an LC200N / Z-Finit datasheet.

Heat treatment is on page 2.
The *lowest* tempering temperature in the table is 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit).
That's well above the temperature of your bread.

Can you swap the blade from the Edgerati to the shaman?
I *think* the Edgerati blade is thinner, so in theory if you have the right washer stack, I think it could work. The opposite, I'm not so sure, although I was talking to one of the SFO guys today I think he was mentioning that someone ...

Anyone have thoughts or an idea how the Manix Salt dropped in weight ? A standard G10 model weighs in at 4.9 ounces and the Salt version comes in at 4.2 ounces . Thinner scales with the cuts , different liners ? Really a nonissue for me just curious. I will wait until the Bumblebee versions come ...
