I personally would want something in between that jump.

For my own preferences, I have decided the Delica should either have a finger choil, or the ricasso should be reduced. It kind of sits in no mans land as it is. Oddly, I don’t feel the same about the Endura or Endela, but they do have slightly different ergonomics as the handle meets the blade.

I haven’t read this entire thread, but backlocks are by far my favorite with liner locks coming in second.

I think a focus on more S35VN models out of China would be a good move given the rising costs. Those knives are excellent values and very competitive with others in the range. Nope, set the edge at 15 withh diamonds, then refine at 20 with the ceramics. For skinning/processing game I would go 600 to 800. For cleaning fish I would go from 1200 all the way to 2000 with my own preference being at 1200.
