Re: Blade HQ Mint Green M4 Manix LW

Received mine today, is my third Manix. Is absolutely flawless and very sharp. I like the color even more than I expected. First time I've owned an M4 knife. If you are on the fence, you should just order one. This is an amazing price for a good blade. Especially for an American made knife from a to...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

Got mine today. Is the second Ayoob I’ve owned and is even better than I remembered. Wish I hadn’t sold the first one in a moment of weakness. Thanks to the community here and to Spyderco for making this happen. And thanks to David at knifeworldwv.com for the incredibly fast shipping. I ordered it F...

Lightest weight 2 inch Spyderco with a clip?

My Dragonfly 2 is great, but it's just over the 2" mark - which is a problem some places. I'm looking for something as close to 2" as possible without going over. My Ladybugs are also great, but no clip! Searching through my pockets isn't ideal and I don't like having it on my key chain mu...

Re: New Chicago CTS-BD1N (some good, some bad)

What cleaning method is indicated? I cringe at the thought of getting the internals wet! Knives can definitely get wet as long as you dry them later. There are lots of ways to clean a pivot without water. Basically you just need to get the gunk out. Wipe it out with a towel, compressed air, maybe e...

Re: New Chicago CTS-BD1N (some good, some bad)

If you don't want to adjust the pivot, perhaps try giving a really good cleaning, adding some oil, and then working it open and closed a few hundred times while you watch TV (or some other fairly idle activity where it is safe). Give it another solid cleaning, then oil the pivot again. Sometimes it ...

Re: What would you like to see next from Byrd?

z1r - I have a hawkbill too. What a great knife and truly a fantastic value. I don't know how they do it - this seems like pretty complicated knife to grind and you would think it would be much more expensive. I haven't tried any of the salt series yet - I'm not sure why, but I rarely seem to have a...

Re: KnifeJoy 20cv Endura4

I received mine today. The color is fantastic and even better than I expected. Love the silver clip too.

Knife appears to be flawless from a QC standpoint. Drops shut, good grinds, no lock issues, extremely sharp.

This will definitely be in my regular rotation.

Re: What would you like to see next from Byrd?

I'd like to see: - FRN handled knives with a black blade. The stainless handled knives are super cool, but just too heavy for me. - More wire clips! Spyderco's wire clips are fantastic, especially the ones that are deep pocket carry. And this seems to be a very desirable feature, with people spendin...

Re: Resilience Lightweight - First Impressions

Nice first impressions review, thanks! Looks like another great knife.

I like my G10 resilience very much, would like to get a lightweight to go with it.

Tenacious Lightweight Appreciation

Hi Everyone, I've been collecting Spydercos since the mid-90s and own so many great knives that most days it's a real challenge to figure out what I should carry. A few months ago on a whim I decided to buy a Tenacious Lightweight Black Blade SpyderEdge. Based on the reviews, I expected it to be a g...
