Re: Would you purchase a Spyderco Kitchen Knife in LC200N?

Magnacut seems the better choice. With a toughness that can support thin grinds and sub 15dps edge angles. My thoughts exactly. Maybe the no stain isn't a huge priority for some and fireman makes a good point, but with 63+ HRC, micro edge stability and extreme angles sound like a perfect job for Ma...

Re: What Will Be The First Magnacut Model?

What about some culinary knives in Magnacut? I see the new release of kitchen knives in CTS BD1N is coming. . . I'm in the market for some nice culinary magnacut baby!

Re: Paramilitary 2 Lightweight?

I've been super happy with the police 4 LW in k390, formerly always been a delica/endura guy. I've had a pm2 and really like the size, but it's like I may as well carry a police 4 LW when comparing the weight and feel in the pocket. So I sold my pm2, but I kinda miss the compression lock. Re: Z-Wear PM, Mule #30 --- My knife experience

Welcome Seth, and thanks for the excellent writeup! Defenestrate may know the sharpening process for mules, but from a thread awhile back I thought that robotic sharpening of mules was likely. Either way, Mr. Defenestrate gives a good tip that you don't really judge an edge by its factory sharpenin...

Re: Blade Centering Question

I just fixed my K390 Police 4. I adjusted the pivot and lockback back screw (the screw next in line with the pivot screw) and got a really nice action but still not centered. So what worked for me was I loosened the butt of the knife last 3 screws and did the bend technique while holding the bend as...

Z-Wear PM, Mule #30 --- My knife experience

Background Before I post my experience with Z-wear, I would like to quickly share my overall knife/steel experience. I have only used VG-10 (Delica/Endura) and CPM S30V (PM2) for 10 years or so in 'normal' EDC and work related use. I'm a paramedic and have been extremely happy with these knives. I'...
