The Zoomer is AWESOME.
I bought a brand new Zoomer around Christmas and now having done some cutting, cooking, sharpening and stropping I can 100% tell you it’s flat out awesome. Yes I will get some photos for you but if you are even remotely thinking of a Spyderco fixed blade I strongly recommend the Zoomer. I will admit...

I have a Zoomer which is the 20CV in a Hamaguri (convex) grind that’s outstanding!

Re: Yojumbo S90V carbon fiber
And now I must have a Yojumbo. I will carry this one because of stabby reasons. If this gets waved I will be extra in. A waved yojumbo would be extra awesome.

Re: Alternative pocket knife for high corrosion and high edge retention
Not sure what you are doing with the knife but if you want a very think blade go with a Medford. They are like a 2x4 compared for most I have seen. Or Magnacut is what you seek but it will be a bit longer before they hit the shelves. Also if it’s that hard a use maybe get an H1 fixed blade so you ca...

If I could also get a medium and extra fine in the webfoot I would buy all of them including the new CBN.

Re: Where does the steel come from?
Maybe I am utterly missing the point here but what does the basket of bulk steel parts shown above have to do with Spyderco steel in the Taiwan factory? Assuming that “Behold a photo of something being heat treated in a basket” means everything is done that way or that this has anything to do with S...

We have several flippers of which Sliverax is fantastic as are the Tropen and Amalgam. For fixed blades Zoomer and the Reverse are both outstanding. Pics when I have a moment.

Re: webfoot v golden stone
I will be ALL IN on a webfoot. It will allow for a rapid re-profile and do a toothy edge quickly too. Sal is an absolute genius with the design. The Golden Stone is my Go To and I own 1 or 2 of all their stones. Seriously it is a 1 piece sharpmaker essentially.

Re: Humble petition and poll for keeping the liner lock Military in the lineup, if there´ll be a comp.lock Millie 2
I basically want a “Millie 2” that’s essentially just a larger PM2 (comp lock and 4 pos carry). Since we are granting wishes I want them in M4, Maxamet and/or CruWear. Yes, I will buy all 3. Heck toss it in any awesome steel and watch me buy it.

Re: Where does the steel come from?
My take on most the steels used is the key is having the quality control in place to assure that the client is what getting is what they paid for at the steel manufacturers level. Clearly if it’s a more basic steel (52100 or O1 or A2) the batch has to be to spec but the low alloy nature makes it a ...

Re: The "compression made easy"-device - does it actually improve the comp.lock?
If I was using a “standard” model (vs left handed model) as a lefty I can see it. As a right handed person I think it’s interesting but not really a plus. I like my locks where there is minimal change of accidental disengagement so that would be another reason I would pass on it. Interesting idea th...
