Autonomy 2 DLC – need help
I have a couple of questions for other Autonomy 2 DLC owners. Does your blade show any marks on the coating from contact with the liners? Also, on my example, the safety lock only moves halfway when the blade is open — do you know what could cause this, and whether it’s an easy fix or something more ...

Re: The Future of Modern Spyderco Kinfe Steel and Impact to Cost
What seems interesting is old style thinking vs new style thinking regarding, well, not just knives, but anything. The life cycle of items seems drastically short these days, and not necessarily just for durability's sake. We see it everywhere, the 'short attention span, quick dopamine hit ...

Re: Preferred Clip Position?
Same here — there’s no one-size-fits-all. At first I read too much into what others were saying and thought everything had to be tip-up. But then I started listening to myself (and Sal), and now my PM2s and Military models have the clips just as they came from the factory. It’s all about personal ...

This one’s a funny story. I bought it from Lamnia listed as LC200N, thinking I was getting one of the last discontinued yellow-handle versions (my preferred salt color), even though the price wasn’t great.

Re: The Future of Modern Spyderco Kinfe Steel and Impact to Cost
As i told in the past as well the whole supersteel for me as a EDC carrier is not necessary. I never got into the whole supersteel craze with different colours and slightly improved steels but on the same model. I understand that from a manufacturing viewpoint that this is economical better ...

i would take one, but only if it was a salt in all black with an emerson wave built in and a finger loop built into the frn like a karambit.

Re: Yojimbo 2 LW – revisiting the idea
I'd be totally down for this, but with a few caveats.
I'd love for Mr. Janich to have the opportunity to go through the design after a comment he made in a different thread saying that after further accumulated experience, he would make some changes to the design.
While I wasn't much interested ...

Re: Yojimbo 2 LW – revisiting the idea
A linerless linerlock? you need at least one liner.
Just like “stainless” is stains less 😄 So I mean liner-less (not that it entirely lacks any), to clearly separate it from LW Comp Lock models which still have full nested liners like the Spyderco Lil’ Temperance Lightweight, which weighs ...

Yojimbo 2 LW – revisiting the idea
This has come up before, but things have changed. With the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Lightweight now out, some of the concerns people had with the Para 3 LW—especially around the Compression Lock and FRN construction—seem to be addressed.
So, could a Yojimbo 2 LW with a similar linerless setup work ...

I said this 2 months ago on the "what scales do you prefer" thread. A Shaman Lightweight Salt version with the grippy FRN scales. In Magnacut, blacked out would be sweet. I want one!
